I thought last year's match was the best they've ever had. Yes, even better than the first HIAC.

The thing is, it wasn't a five star classic last year. It wasn't a three star classic last year. See, that's your opinion. An opinion thats in the minority. A big majority found the macth to be in the 4-5 star range. WWE isn't going to pull the rug on it after all this teasing just to appease a small moniroty.

Why would you have the same top billed match at Mania 2 years in a row? Triple H vs. Randy Orton was the top billed match from WM25

My hope is that HBK tries a few more "legit" ways to obtain the rematch and then snaps and costs Taker the world title and EC. This would be similar to how their very first angle started when Shawn cost Taker the title at Summerslam 97. They could even replay that with Shawn costing Taker with a chair shot to the head.
Then have Shawn out on the next Raw telling Taker that he did what he had to do to get what he wanted... lights go out and Taker is in the ring, but Shawn is gone. Now Taker is transformed into the hunter and Shawn is the hunted. And we go through this up to WM where Taker finally gets his hands on Shawn after weeks of close calls and cheap shots by HBK.

Part of me thinks they are teasing this match so much because, yes indeed it will actually happen. And to be fair the storyline is already good enough that I wouldn't mind seeing it again. I really buy that HBK wants the match as much as he acts.
On the other hand, I kinda think they are building up HBK's passion to beat Taker so much because it will mean more when someone takes it away from him. Like say Punk or HHH costs him his final chance, the feud with either of them becomes intense because they have taken something away from him that meant so much - the one thing he hasn't been able to accomplish in his career.
Either way it's pretty good stuff. There's so much going on right now, they've done a great job of building it all and linking it. Tonight we have, as well as Shatner, Legacy/Orton, Bret/Vince, Edge, Sheamus, Miz/MVP, and HBK/HHH. It's stacked, so much can happen potentially.

He either wins Elimination Chamber for a shot, or wins MITB and cashes it in that night.
Im guessing instead he gets robbed in EC, loses his mind and goes nuts and somehow he turns on Triple H and we get that,

I reckon he doesnt get his shot, and so enters MITB, wins, then cashes in that night.

Anyone will tell they were watching for Taker vs HBK.....even the WWE knew that. yet at the same time it was the top billed match. Sort of like how Hogan/Andre was the main event to Mania 3 yet many who prefer workrate watch it for Savage/Steamboat

They're pushing Edge vs Jericho, Edge won the Rumble I'd say it's pretty obvious Jericho wins the World title and they face off for it.

Shawn could come out on RAW, and say he has accomplished just about everything in his WWE career, grand slam champion, Royal Rumble winner etc. But the one thing he hasn't done is beat UT @ WM. And if he can't have that oppurtunity, then he has nothing left to wrestle for. He announces his retirement, only to show up ion SD! and lay out Taker. Teddy Long announces that after Shawn quit, he offered him a job on SD! and a chance to accomplish his final goal.

What'd I'd do is:
Edge goes for the WWE title (would have better to be Jericho to get him back on Raw) for some raisin so HBK devises a plan to win the WHC in the elimination chamber so Taker HAS to use his rematch clause. Which HBK won't let him do till WM.
Except HBK is eliminated (probably before Taker gets out of his 'pod'). Kerazy Shawn then puts himself into Money in the Bank and wins at WM but seems to have injured himself that he could never cash it in that night.
Then it's Taker vs whoever for the WHC. Taker wins but there's no sign of HBK.
Then the WWE title match is at the top of the card. After the match HBK walks down with the briefcase. "I'm not waiting until next year, Deadman!"
HBK vs Taker II.

Taker/Michaels is not gonna happen again
In fact, I'm so confident that this storyline is gonna get swerved, that if it doesn't, I'm done with WrestleCrap for good.
