Now that HBK has lost the rumble which left me in shock, how do u think WWE will have him find a way to face Taker? Based on him going crazy last night after he got eliminated, I think one way they will do this or can do this, is have him attack some Smackdown guy backstage like Punk, take them out and enter Smackdown's elimination chamber, win that and go on to face Taker.
Or maybe he cost Taker his title and Taker gets pissed and takes him on.
How do u think WWE will do it though?

Hopefully, he won't. We REALLY don't need this match again. It wasn't as good as it was hyped up to be the last time, and nothing they do will ever touch their 97 stuff. Just let it lie.

I really think the whole Taker rematch thing was a ploy to create friction between HHH and HBK, eventually leading to a WM match.

I agree, I really didn't like the match much because to me it was nothing more than 2 people repeatedly kicking out of each others finisher. Got old very quickly for me.

Why would you have the same top billed match at Mania 2 years in a row?

I'm thinking Shawn costs Taker the title at Elimination chamber and we end up with HBK vs HHH vs Undertaker at WM. It gives all the old guys something to do and keeps them away from the titles. Also it stacks the odds against Taker and his streak a bit more.

I doubt the majority have even seen their 1997 stuff. And I also doubt they'd not do the match because people on the internet think it wouldn't be a ***** classic like last year. The story between these two is awesome and it would be captivating to see if Shawn could pull off the victory.

Unless they want to piss off the majority of people who obviously do want to see it by pulling the rug out from in under them after hyping and teasing this since the Slammies, yeah they'll find a way to do it.

The only way to save it is if two things happen... 1. HHH wants to be in a title match at Wrestlemania. Its both a kayfabe story, and a IWC complaint. So you play into that. HBK also wants a shot at Taker. Well both should have one more shot at their dreams in the Chamber, and they both can cost each other setting up a HHH-HBK Wrestlemania Match. 2. Undertaker somehow ends up against Cena. The only way I can justify HHH facing HBK instead of Undertaker is if Undertaker ends up against Cena. If its not Cena and its not HBK its a huge let down.

It wasn't a three star classic last year. Like the guy above said, it was just "kick out of finisher, react, kick out of finisher, react, repeat". It would have made a great Raw main event, but it wasn't nearly the "match of the decade" that people made it out to be. It doesn't need to happen again. Especially since Taker can barely move, and Shawn's not that far behind.

The VAST majority of people who review matches would STRONGLY disagree with the assessment that the match was under THREE stars. In fact, I'm not sure I saw any review that had them at less than four. The majority were in the 4.5-5 range.
