I live in Arlington Texas, its like overshadowed by Dallas ya know. Anyway in 2009 we get this Stadium here that can possibly hold 100,000 people. You guys think they may possibly one day hold a Wrestlemania there? Cause I mean it'll prolly be the biggest Stadium in Texas right?

it would happen possibly....depends on how much wrestling declines over the years between now and then and at the rate its going it would sell out simply because it's WrestleMania and purely that because right now the product is sh!t and doesn't look to be improving anytime soon

There's a strong possibility, certainly.
I think it all depends on how well business for WWE is at the time, though, and if they could fill it up. That's why they've been holding 'Mania in the smaller arenas over the past few years. In my opinion, they were lucky to sell out Seattle in 2003, considering the product was at a downward spiral at that particular time.
I guess it would just sell out because it's WrestleMania, though.

I wish they would do one in Dallas, it can hold 20,000...but they prolly wont hold another Wrestlemania in Texas till atleast Wrestlemania 27...

I doubt it. Stadium size isn't the only consideration, it's the market. I could be wrong but I don't think anybody sees Arlington as a big market for wrestling.
Just look at the roll call for all of the non-stadium Wrestlemania venue cities. Chicago, L.A, New York, Anaheim, Philadelphia, Boston, Las Vegas.
Even Summerslam they try and keep within the major markets such as the ones mentioned above or (famously) one time in London.
I don't think even if they build a 200,000 seaters stadium that Arlington would stand any chance of hosting a Wrestlemania.

Ive thought about it as well. I would love them to bring WrestleMania to the new stadium in Arlington. It would be a 20 minute trip for me and a lot better then having to go to Houston for a Mania (X-7).
I think doing it at the American Airlines Center in Dallas would be a good idea to. We sell that building completley out EVERYTIME they come here. Ive never seen a single tarped off section in that building for a televised event in that arena(except that spot were they have to place the hard camera of course). But for wrestling, that arena holds a little over 17,000 and would be way better then the Allstate Arena(no offense to any Chicago crappers, but ive been to the building, ugh).
Plus, its a great looking arena, still pretty new as well. It would be a great site for WrestleMania, should they choose to not do a big stadium show one year soon.

That's the new stadium the Cowboys are moving to, right?
If so, it could happen --- just expect WWE to say "Live from Dallas" instead of Arlington.
That reminds me, how about an Alamodome, Reliant Stadium, or Superdome Wrestlemania?

That reminds me, how about an Alamodome, Reliant Stadium, or Superdome Wrestlemania? Yes its the new Cowboys stadium. And it is very likely they would just say Dallas. But thats nothing new, since the Dallas Cowboys have played in Irving, not Dallas, for the last 30 or so years. That dosent stop every announcer from saying their in Dallas. Alamodome blows, Reliant is possible, and I dont share my thoughts on the Superdome anymore since now people think its offensive(its a damn building, not a person!), eventhough its the same thing I thought about it before the hurricane. Hell, I'll say it anyway....Tear the motherf***er down!!

In 2007, San Antonio is going to host the Royal Rumble and Houston is going to host Vengeance. Dallas.......nothing. Hell, we've only had 2 PPV's in the 21 year history of WWF/E PPV and were a major market! San Antonio and Houston combined have had probably 20 at least.

I'm pretty sure WWE hates coming to Texas. They only come around about once a year now.

Now that they announce Charlie Haas as being from Dallas, I want them to come back here and have him come out. He would get the hometown pop.
The Haas pop would be thrown right out the window and it would be right back to the rightful name. The Conway Pop.

It speaks volumes about WWE's current product when the fact that I am most likely going to pass on my first opportunity to be live at a Royal Rumble. If anything, I'm jealous of that damn northeast area for getting all those ROH shows.

At least they come to your state for pay per views. They don't even come to my country for anything except a couple of house shows.

Call me spoiled, but after being exposed to a live ROH show last November, I expect quite the bang for my buck. I will not, nor will anyone else, spend $100 on a ticket for me to go see Boogeyman roll around in worms or some diva bikini dodgeball or Big Dick Johson molestation contest.
