Been fighting since November to get rid of it and into something more reliable. That day finally came today, and I'm now the quite pleased owner of a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer ES in Rally Red. Only the third car I've ever owned but I honestly already think it may be the best I've had. It's my "foot in the door" of upgrading to a Lancer RalliArt or a Lancer Evolution when I'm 25 or so. Feels like a big weight is lifted off of my shoulders, like I can go places without worrying about being stuck at the side of the road Anyway, don't want to brag, just feels like in the past few months so much has gone wrong for me that it's nice to have an actual decent "ahh, nice" moment.

Congrats. Lancers are nice cars. I was considering a Lancer Evo, until I discovered the Infiniti g35/37 series. Now if only I could get some credit.

Congrats. Lancers are nice cars. I was considering a Lancer Evo, until I discovered the Infiniti g35/37 series. Now if only I could get some credit. Oh yeah, the G35 and 37 are niiiice cars for sure. I'd love to have one of those too. Initially I wasn't thrilled with the idea of a "normal" spec Lancer, especially given the flaccid looking 2002 initial model released in the US, which hit every branch as it fell down the ugly tree. The next one wasn't much better. But the current generation, style wise, has very little difference from the stronger Ralliart (which is AWD and has a small turbocharger, it's like a baby Evo nowadays.) and the Evo. All it lacks is the vented hood and more aggressive front bumper, otherwise, it's exactly the same car aesthetically. Love how it looks and I'm still shocked that the 2.0 N/A four cylinder has a fair amount of get up and go to it. I've really gotta watch my speed when I'm driving, heh. But I'm very pleased with it so far, and established enough of a customer relationship with the dealership to where I know in a few years when I can afford the next step up, it'll be no problem. I hope you get into your Infiniti G35 or G37 soon, the first Skylines in the US was a huge deal to me at the time, but I do gotta ask, how would ya feel about having the 2010 Nissan GT-R? *drool*
