Was actually a way better movie than I probably gave it credit for.
Still hate Frank Miller, but I'll be goddamned if that movie adaptation wasn't a home run.

It was awesome imo and helped get film noir back into the public's attention.

The movie was pretty awesome. A sequel is on the way, but when it gets here who knows. I would have liked more Madsen though.

More Michael Madsen is always a good thing.

It's a shame that Rodriguez is taking his sweet time making the second movie. But I guess "The Spirit" did not help matters when it was released.

I really enjoyed that movie, and it got me into the comics.

I remember after seeing the movie I had to explain things to an older guy I worked with who was confused about a few things. No one had told him that it was a comic book movie. Well, I had mentioned it to him, but he just didn't listen.

Hasn't really held up for me as well on subsequent viewings, but still visually awesome.
Plus saved Mickey Rourke, so that's cool.

I read the comics after and I couldn't believe how it was nearly 100% adapted exactly. I still haven't seen The Directors Cut of it. I really like this movie and it's just great fun and I just love the style.

I really like this movie and it's just great fun and I just love the style. Didn't know there a DC of the movie It's basically the 4 stories separated into individual segments, and slightly expanded. As great as the movie is as a whole, it is nice to be able to sit down and just watch one story.

I think it's the perfect example of style over substance. It looks absolutely fantastic but I think the film is pretty crappy.

It's around the time Frank started doing Sin City that he really did abandon dialogue that wasn't stilted and kinda stupid for the sake of sounding 'cool' or tough; that's def. true.

I'm really not a big Frank Miller fan, so I really wasn't too big a fan of this movie.

I developed a serious crush on this young lady thanks to "Sin City". So....yeah. Good movie. Alexis Bledel is hot. That is all.
