What he didn't tell us was that Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter were already picked to play Gomez and Morticia.

What he didn't tell us was that Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter were already picked to play Gomez and Morticia. I'm okay with that, as long as one of the stars of the original movie makes a cameo. My choice? {Spoiler}

Tim Burton would have been awesome for the job, until he went on cruse control.
The dude's like a Thomas Kinkade for goths. Only in film.

Just a side note, I laughed my ass off when I saw the first related video for it. Yeah, I don't approve of this.

It's not live action, it's stop motion based on the original designs.

Y'know, I would be pumped for this...if Ray Bradbury wrote the screenplay

I'd actually prefer stop-motion, I think its Burton's favorite animation tool, although he'd probably farm it out to one of his associates (Shane Acker, Timur B., the guy who directed Nightmare).

I will admit though, if this means Christopher Lee as Lurch, it may all be worth it.

Wow, Burton's not really good going outside his comfort zone as a director at all, is he? From one "wacky, dark, and kooky" project to the next. Fun times.

I'm sure a lot of you do not know this, but I'm actually pretty well connected to a ring of reporters and sources and such. Sometimes, they let me do a few things because I'm a friend. I just got off from an interview with Gomez Addams and he had this to say: HAS THE PLANET GONE MAD!?!?
