From Gerweck.net:
Kane's "See No Evil" has grossed $15,032,800 domestic, but has only pulled in $1,777,084 outside of the United States, bringing its total up to $16,802,844. According to Dave Meltzer, the movie needs to bring in another $4 million on DVD to hit the break even point.

It's not scary. He doesn't deal with an officer down, multiple assailants and a hostage. His wife. Tell me when WWE films make a movie like that.

And this comes as a suprise to anyone. Any time that Mr. McMahon has tried promoting anything, but wrestling it has failed. ex. XFL

How is it failing Meltzer as always is wrong, it cost only 8 million to make and not much on promote so over 16 mill so far its a hit in horror standards.

I really enjoyed it. I mean if you're expecting a GOOD movie, I wouldn't ggo near it. But for a random horror flick with some gore, it was much better than the majority of recent stuff. (The Ring 2, PUlse, The Grudge, etc.)

I wouldn't say hit, and the budget numbers are all over the place, but it doesn't look like it will be a loss at the end of the day. Making a major film is a lot of hooplah to go through just not to lose money at the end of the day, but it's a learning experience for WWE Films and Mr. McMahon.

Do you think other movie companies succedded right away? Give WWE films some time to find their niche...By HHH's movie I bet theyll have it together

(The Ring 2, PUlse, The Grudge, etc.) So did I. I'm a horror movie fanatic so I was seeing it with or without Kane. At this point if you don't know that every horror flick isn't going to be Se7en or Silence of the Lambs then you'll never be able to enjoy yourself at them.
