Rock Star, when it's used to describe EVERYBODY that plays music. And also according to TV commercials, a fancy shirt with a glitter diamond on it can make you look like a rock star.
So what are some of cliches (I think that's the word I want) that you're getting tired of hearing?

Yeah, but that kinda makes sense. "Rock star", for better or worse, is basically a catch-all term for someone with a lot of magnetism/charisma. So in a very raw way, George Washington was a rock star of his time.
To stay on-topic (sorry), I'm getting tired of "Really?" from anyone not named Miz. And "Just...why?" needs to go.

Don't know if these are all cliches, but:
"Now that's what I'm talking about"---was semi-cool before cartoon bears and everybody else started using it "Awkward!"---every commercial is using it ad nauseam it seems "an historic"---considered by some to be correct but still sounds pretentious

"Don't go there."
"Been there, done that..."
You'd be surprised how often I still here both of these.

A lot of the internet speak gets on my nerves.
"Owned, Pwned, Noob" etc, cant tell you how much I hate this crap.
"Fail and Win" I can live with though.

The word "buzz". It already sounds stupid in itself, but what makes it worse is that any random thing that gets talked about more than usual one day apparently "creates the buzz", even if people stop caring about it the next day.

So in a very raw way, George Washington was a rock star of his time. Remember when Washington went electric and played his false teeth on stage at the 1789 inauguration? Good times.

'Back in the day'
What does that even mean? Which day? And why is it 'the' day?
And honestly, I'm fed up with people who say 'Epic Fail/Win' or any other internet term in real life. There's a reason they were made on the internet.

Oh, another one while I think about it.
'I tell it how it is/I see it how I see it'
No you don't, you just express your viewpoint just like everyone else. Most of the time, it's just a sign above your head that says 'Douchebag'.

When people say: "Nooooooooooooo, really?"
The "at the end of the day" one drives me crazy too. I just want to say "ah shut up".

This one just kills me for some reason, NFL commentators who can't say 'NFL'.
"Well, Jimbo Jackson is a great player in the National Football League. In the National Football League, you need to have great players to win in the National Football League. If you don't have great players like Jimbo Jackson in the National Football League, then you end up losing in the National Football League!"

Not sure if I'm tired of it, but I've always hated a phrase we're going to see hearing a lot of starting next month: "Dads and Grads".

I've found it forever irritating to hear anyone other than Stan Lee use "Nuff Said" as some get out of jail free card to avoid any discussion or activity involving backing up any opinion ever.
