Now unless things have changed about the specs of this abomination, I dont see how anyone could possibly want one.
No USB ports, only runs App Store software, can still only run one app at a time. I don't even think the Apple diehards can defend this thing.
I'm no Apple hater at all, in fact I have an Iphone, and an Ipod Nano. The Ipad though just seems completely useless. I mean Virtual Boy useless.
What do the rest of you think?

Some people will be all over it just because it has Apple on it, and Apple's smart enough to know that. I personally don't see the appeal, but Apple enthusiasts will claim it as great, when really there's nothing to get excited about.

All I have to say is that it should of came out BEFORE the Ipod Touch.

And i think you have to get an internet plan just for the device itself, I know Apple has their die hards who buy anything they put out, but they are probably only buying this just to buy it.

I don't see the purpose of it at all...not when you have way better tablets coming out like the HP Slate...

I see no use for it, after all the hype and speculation this thing is a massive letdown.

Everyone will want one, simply because of one thing...it has the Apple logo on it. Reviewers like Newsweek have also hopped aboard the bandwagon, desperately trying to say how this thing is the future of everything ever.

It's an Ipod touch.......without the ability to carry it around in your pocket. Just get a laptop or (this is gonna sound silly ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ) AN IPOD. I hope I don't offend anyone with this image ![](http://img368.imageshack.us/img368/5258/mosesipad.jpg) But to me that's what they remind me of

I love Apple, but I honestly don't know what the appeal to this product is.

This probably wont end well for the company, but its for the best, might bring them down a peg or two.

To be fair, we haven't seen what anyone's tried with it yet so we can't really judge it until then.
We've only seen what Apple has promoted which is typical PR stuff.
And really, noone should ever buy an Apple product as soon as it comes out because of the inevitable improvements.

That's a good point, for all we know the iPad Gen 2 they'll inevitably release next year my end up being a massive improvement and a must have product. Apple's 1st Gen stuff tends to be demo models that get sold to the public
