I was thinking recently that, if given the choice between having to watch Federline on Raw tonight, and watching something else wrestling-related, I'd probably watch something else wrestling-related while that segment was on. Which got me thinking some more: with the quality of WWE's shows dropping at a steady rate, how do you feel WCW would fare against Raw now if it had survived, not considering that WWE may be a much different landscape under this scenario with actual competition still.

I think it'd be about dead even, give or take a bit in WWE's favor.

See it depends on what WCW we'd be getting. If it was the one right before they went out of business, I think WWE would be ahead but it would be pretty damn close. If this was a style of WCW from 96-98 then WCW would be handing WWE their ass. WWE has declined something awful, and still is.

See, it's times like this that make me wish I could visit an alternate dimension that still had WCW and ECW around. I'd love to see how they would have evolved if they had survived.

Does anybody remember how bad WCW was in 2001? I don't think that would have changed much.

This is impossible to fathom, so many factors come into play regarding what WCW would went through the past 5 years and whatnot had it been bought by Bischoff and his investment company.

It'd be really hard to predict, considering the fact that WWE has fluctuated in quality throughout the year. It'd probably be overall neck and neck, however.

WWE would crush WCW easily. The main event tonight would likely be WCW world champion Vern "Mini-Me" Troyer VS Glacier, and a battle royale between NWO White, NWO Red, NWO Green, and the BWO.

It's really a question I wouldn't hazard an answer to. If WCW lived, what kind of talent would they still have? Who would be running the show? If they still had cruiserweights though, I would watch them.

WWE would be a lot better than it is now if WCW was still around I think. But assuming WWE was putting on the shows they are now, and WCW had a decent roster I think they`d be in the same boat.
WCW would really have needed a miracle to turn them around to beat WWE.

You could argue that WWF wouldn't had got so lazy and declined so much, but you could also argue that WCW could had kept stealing stars and came up with another angle the likes of nWo and kill WWF.

Your assuming that WCW would still be pulling the same stuff they were doing before the it was bought. You think after 6 years of they would doing that? With your logic, Stone Cold would still be champ.

if bischoff was in charge of WCW, I think they'd still be neck and neck
Russo booked it into the ground so bad, that when nash and kevin sullivan took over and when bisch came back, they could not save it.

I think people would have gotten tired of the stupid crap that is WWE and jumped over to WCW. I really think that in the couple month's before WCW went under they were on an upswing creative wise and probably would have shifted the balance back in their favor.
