saw them at Ozzfest a few years ago. They were pretty much the only memorable performance of the festival that year.

I've been a big Maiden fan for several years and seen them live a few times (in 2003, 2005 and 2008). I even have Nicko McBrain's drum stick from one of those gigs.
Dance of Death is quite possibly my favorite Maiden song, although the same could be said about at least ten other songs.
One of those songs is Moonchild. I marked out like crazy when they played this on the Somewhere Back in Time tour.

Iron Maiden is pure genius. "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" is a damn masterpiece.

"The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" is a damn masterpiece. It certainly is. That song also features one the greatest metal screams of all time in "then down in falls comes the RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNN!!!"

One of the most underrated Iron Maiden tracks of all-time:
In my opinion, it only gets overshadowed because it's on the same album as The Trooper, but that might just be me.

Always will be one of my more appreciated bands ever. All due to seeing them live for the first time.
Ozzfest 2005, I ended up going with my brothers. Lineup was good, and we saw the main stage and it was like "Black Sabbath: AWESOME! Iron Maiden...EH!" I mean, I liked a couple of songs but I wasn't really into them, but we said that seeing both Sabbath and Maiden would be cool to tell people, so we bit the apple.
WHOA! LIKE, FREAKIN' WHOA!
I didn't suspect them to be completely mind-blowing. We were standing, trying to join in with the crowd as best as we could. I remember my feet hurting me to death, but I kept on going, that adrenaline kept me flowing.
Now, one of the best bands EVER.
Oh, and speaking of live..."Running Free". Awesomeness personified.

Flight of Icarous, Run to the Hills, and Alexander the great are some of my all time favorite songs ever. Sometimes, I swear that the members of Iron Maiden are old hardcore DnD players just be looking at the titles of several of their songs. Probably just wishful thinking, but still!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Iron Maiden is the only band with an absolutely perfect discography in my book. There is not a single song off any of their albums I could honestly say I didn't like. They are possibly the most talented band around, even if only metal heads realize it. We all love Bruce, but I always champion Paul and Blaze, they don't get enough love. Their "eras" are every bit as good as the Bruce stuff. It's impossible to choose a favorite, but I really really love the Blaze stuff, it's hard to believe so many people hate it. Some of the strongest lyrics Harris has written.

Yes, Yes, a thousand ****ing times YES!!!! I am SOOOOOO jacked to see them this summer!! Are you by any chance seeing them at Sonisphere? I'm off there in August, and I couldn't be more excited. It'll be my second time seeing them - the first was when I was fifteen. Unfortunately, I was sat way, waaaay far from the stage. Have some classics: and...well, something else.

Yes please. How many people remember me as Aaron Maiden? My (tied) all-time favourite band. Seen them 4 times and it's not enough. Was looking at travelling to either Germany or America to see them again this summer, but they both fell through.
"Somewhere in Time" for most underrated album?
