So now that it's been on for a while, what are people's opinions of The Cleveland Show? I wasn't sure about it when it got announced, because I didn't know how a whole show revolved around Cleveland would be, but there are some weeks where I enjoy it more than Family Guy. So any other 'Crappers that love the Cleveland Show?

Like American Dad it has gotten better over time, and I know am more excited for it than Family Guy. Neither one touches AD though.

I really enjoy it. I only catch new Family Guy every now and then, and as much as I love American Dad, the US TV schedules annoy me so much I find it easier to wait til it's out on DVD. But there hasn't been an episode of it I haven't liked yet. I almost died watching an episode yesterday when Cleveland said he had to go back to the island, and giant white letters "CLEVELAND" floated towards the screen.

I liked the first episodes and it grew on me even more. I love it, and I reguarly sing the theme tune

Well, I am constantly singing the catchy theme and can do a good impression of his laugh. Basically, I enjoy it. "NOT THE FACE!" *punch to the groin* "NOT THE 'NADS!" alternating face-groin punches.

I hated the first few episodes but it has just got better and better and I really like it now. The theme song is great, though.
The most human among us, is a bear.
Let that sink in.

I've only seen two episodes and I liked them. I'll probably wait and watch them on DVD (like I do with Family Guy).

So far I'm not impressed. I was really skeptical about it. While it doesn't outright suck but it's not as good as FG or AD. I liked AD pretty much from the start, I'm still on the fence about The Cleveland Show.
By the way, what the hell is Seth McFarlane's deal with talking animals? Does he have a fetish or something?

Yeah, I thought the first few episodes were sorta mediocre character wise but I think it's definitely gotten better to the point I'm more interested in it than Family Guy. (I lost interest in American Dad a long time ago)

It's gotten better with time. Certainly better than Family Guy these days. But Cleveland has got to stop cross-dressing. Seems like there's a joke every other episode about him dressing up as a woman.
Oh, and that theme song is catchy as hell.

It took a while for it to hit its stride, but right now I think it's the most consistently good of the three McFarlane shows. Cleveland's stupid, but in a "pre-season 11 Homer" way that at least keeps him likable.

I'm not sure it's funnier than FG - I hate that show but it's still very funny - but as far as having storylines and characters, it leaves FG in the dust.

How can you hate a show you find funny? Wouldn't that mean you like it?
