No, because sitcoms are meant to do more than make us laugh. 'Just making you laugh' is what sketch shows do. Family Guy has no characters or storylines, just joke delivery conduits who happen to have first names. It still makes me laugh occasionally, but that's all it does. The Cleveland Show is a little shaky on this too, but at least it has genuine stories instead of being 90% cutaway or pop culture.

The name "Stoolbend" cracks me up every time I see/hear it. I really dig Rallo. IMO, he's the best character on the show. One thing that amazes me is that they turned a running gag on Family Guy (Peter shenanigans/bathtub accident) into a fairly good, story-driven episode of the Cleveland Show.

Rallo has the same role as Stewie in that he's there to deliver the End Of Scene Punchline. His reaction to Cleveland jumping on Loretta's casket was priceless.
