With the missus going away this weekend I've got the house to myself and figured that since I don't have work I might as well watch some tv. Now that I'm up to date on most of the shows I currently watch, so after browsing though the TV section at work today I found Mortal Kombat: Conquest on DVD. Now I know it was cancalled after just one season and it was supposed to be a prequel to the first MK movie but is it any good?

Yeah, I'd say it's worth watching. I haven't seen it since the original run, but I remember it being decent from the start and only getting stronger as it went on. I'd treat it as a standalone rather than a prequel to the movie though, what with the final episode and all.

it is good. it gets kinda surreal towards the end, and the actual final ending is a bit of a downer.

Of course, if only for the many WCW cameos.
