Who would get the larger pop and have the support of the majority if they clashed in this current day and age?

I don't know, watch their match from a few years back and find out.

At JD 02, Hogan was the favorite, but Taker was a heel at the time, but there was alot of Hulkamania RIP type signs there too
BTW the match in my sig is underrated

It wasn't that big. It was during the Badass gimmick so maybe thats why? Idk Hogan V (insert legend here) really wouldn't get me marking like a kid. Unless that legend was Randy Savage.

Hogan, its sad but it would be him. Taker is still mentioned or scene on every show but Hogan is a rare "treat". I mean I like Hogan but Taker is an al time fav.

I'd have to say Undertaker.
Hogan would get cheers for his signature spots, but Taker would get most of the support.
He's just better all-around, in my opinion. Probably the only guy around who is a bigger 'legend' than Hogan. In my opinion. Not in terms of anything but pure presence and crowd interaction. It FEELS like main event time when Undertaker is there, even if he's in the midcard.

Anyway, I doubt they'll wrestle again, it's the same situation with Austin, apparently Taker doesn't like Hogan and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't job to him, so Judgment Day 02 is probably the best you'll get

They won't boo the Undertaker for no reason. Even if Hogan is in the ring with him. Face Taker vs Face Hogan probably will have both getting cheered with alot of Hogan chants in the match. But if you want to see something that most fans have forgotten that was huge Undertakr moment, listen to the pop the undefeated heel Undertaker gets at Survivor Series '91 when he pins Hogan 1-2-3.

It was by far the biggest pop of the night and I think I nearly went deaf because of it.

I agree 100% with that. The cheers for The Undertaker were unheard of in that match. I also thought that was a great match since both gimmicks are involved with no-selling a lot; much better than Judgment Day '02 imo.

Judgment Day 02 is probably the best you'll get Yeah...it provided one of the most unintentionally funny moments ever when Hogan would start Taker's crappy bike and nothing happened. Would have been really funny if Taker came down to try and help him get it started. Gotta love how Taker just said screw it though and walked backstage Wish someone had a youtube of this

I can't see anyone being cheered over Undertaker, not even Hogan. One one hand you have 'Taker who has been a constant force in WWE since 1990, is still a good wrestler when he wants to be, is a legend and has the credibility of a main eventer. On the other hand, Hogan is all nostalgia. He has to be in the ring with someone like HBK to keep the fans intrigued from start to finish, otherwise he's useless if WWE are looking for him to put someone over in a 10-minute + match.
Having said that, it depends whether Hogan slows down Undertaker during the match or lets him do his thing. Doesn't matter how popular they are, the people would probably sit on their hands in that situation.

It depends on how long Hogan has been out of the spotlight, every time he's gone for more than a couple of months, people go crazy.
