[major]wrestling promotions BURY thier womens divsion SO MUCH?
seriously, when was the last time that on a show/ppv a diva match was main event?
the divascould be consdiered a threat to some main event guys,IE booker t,but theres one major flaw...
wrestling promotions dont train thier women wrestlers to wrestle.they train them to be sex objects.eye candy.get the picture?........
so....why do they do that?i really think that a fued between,oh i dunno, mickie james and lita or lita and edge could be a quality ppv main event .IF wrestling promotions would train divas to WRESTLE.

Honestly, sex sells and its easier (and cheaper) to find sexy women then good women wrestlers and even harder to find sexy women wrestlers. That is why the WWE has hired sexy women and tried to teach them to wrestle. If the woman can't wrestle after training then they can fire her and its not a big loss or make her an interviewer/valet.
No offense but, if two women could sell a PPV or even draw consistent ratings then one of the several women's promotions would have made it.

If they brought in the Japanese women wrestlers I am sure it would get people interested.

Unfortunately not a lot of people care about female wrestlers. I have to disagree, this reason says it most of it: The sex sells theory kinda ruins women wrestling credibility.

Basically no one cares about women's wrestling, they can put on good matches, but I don't think you'll ever see them headline a PPV or sell out Ford Field or the Astrodome.
To be honest, to me they're just popcorn matches.

Woman's wrestling is all about high heels & sex appeal, not about talent. That's an extra. There's gotta be a big, drastic change if the women's division wants to be taken seriously.
