Anderson brought viewers back into the main event according to the ratings. Unless you believe they were there to see Jeff Jarrett or another screwjob type ending. I'd believe they were there to see Jarrett's return at least as much as Anderson, particularly as the former was something built throughout the show.

If he's a heel, isn't he supposed to be bland? You don't want to risk overshadowing the face by doing a bunch of cool moves.

No, a heel is supposed to do a lot of cool highspots that pop the crowd. That's one reason why AJ Styles is the perfect heel.

Most of the time I dislike when TNA makes knock offs of former gimmicks and gimmick traits, sayings ect. If its a copyright dilemma they are worried about there is an alternative. Have said wrestler do something else. I remember "Its true. Its damn true." That became "Its real. Its damn real." Doesn't sound as good as the former. Still doesn't. "Mr.Kennedy" became "Mr.Anderson." Now when Ken gets on the mic its sounds like hes quoting Agent Smith from the Matrix. Oh wait. REMEMBER when they tried to make Rikishi like The Rock? *shudders TNA likes to make a buck. They think are smart in the game of not being sued. True. At the same time though it just shows the lack of writing prowess in the back. Writer1- Ken Kennedy is coming to TNA? What can we have him do? Writer2- Well we certainly can't have him say "Mr.Kennedyyyy" anymore as we might get sued. HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Writer1- Lets have him say "Mr.Andersonnnnnn". Sure it might sound stupid but we will get out of work early and we can go to the bar. Writer2- Done and done. *High fives! To be fair, before he went to WWE, he performed as "Kamikaze" Ken Anderson.

First off, I'm not a big fan of Kennedy/Anderson. He's okay. But, the whole KENNNNNEEDDDDY (Anderson) mic intro thing isn't "less creative".
It's what he's known for. When Rick Rude left WWF for WCW in the early 1990s, were Rude and WCW "less creative" for doing his pre-match mic schtick? No. It was what he was known for and part of the act.
Was he supposed to show up with a new name, new gimmick, and act completely differently? If you think that, I think you're missing the point as to why you sign a Ken Anderson (with hopes that he can bring some of his old fans from WWE).

Someone on here used to have a sig of Kennedy as Neo from the Matrix. TNA should run with THAT idea. World Elite can be the Agents....and Anderson is, well...."Mister Annnnnderson!" SMELL the money! ;D Is not impressed with the idea....Or Mr Anderson

He can promo and will probably be alright.
Give him a little time and they won't focus on the MISTERRRR ANDERSON thing so much...probably.

Am I the only one who reads this thread title in Lucille Bluth's voice?
Anyway... LOVE Anderson. If he can stop being a real-life jackass, and stay off the shelf, I always thought he had Rock levels of charisma. It's kind of mind-throttling to me that anyone finds him boring.

I think he's a pretty good heel, not great in the ring but he does OK. If he keeps on getting injured all the time in TNA though then it's time for him to pack in and find something else to do.

I liked him in WWE. Just like some people on here alluded to, his ring work has suffered. He still has a lot of charisma, but that's it.

To be fair, before he went to WWE, he performed as "Kamikaze" Ken Anderson. and he was doing the whole MR ANDDDDDDEEEEEEERSSSSOONN thing on the indy scene anyway its not like tna thought it up so i just said they are even less creative He also did it in OVW, and even in WWE (On velocity like twice or something when he first appeared, then mysteriously changed to Kennedy with no explanation the next week.)

I'm still a big fan. He is the most gifted wrestler on the mic this era, he'll go far if he stays uninjured.
