When somebody makes a brilliant comment and it's no sold, then somebody else says the same thing and everyone quotes their words of wisdom and says how great they are, how their ideas intrigue them and how would like to subscribe to their newsletter.
The worst thing is you can't even say anything without looking petty and the second person posting it doesn't even have a newsletter.

I hate how many people mis-use / ignore the textbook definition of the term "IWC." Claiming it doesn't exist, etc. I've explained about 10 times now how the "Internet Wrestling Community," by definition, is the all-encompassing blanket term that involves EVERYBODY who's ever touched the internet and used it to do/say/read anything about pro wrestling. IWC =/= "smark" and there's no one single "IWC viewpoint." That's like saying "the people of Russia believe such and such" when there are millions of different people with different views. There is no way, EVER, that every single person in Russia (or the IWC) will agree on any one topic. And any time I've explained that, it gets no-sold and ignored, and people continue to grossly mischaracterize the "IWC" as one little pocket of holier-than-thou smarks. That's... ...Something I've been trying to say for a long time. You are the man.

Fads/jokes that get run into the ground NON STOP, especially those that weren't ever funny in the first place, AT ALL (IE, Brayden Walker or whatever his name was) ...you just don't appreciate knock knock jokes, good sir. EDIT: As for what I hate about the forums, I'm all for civilized back n' forth respectful debates but when it breaks down into personal attacks and the condescending "I'm smarter than you" attitude, then this isn't the forum for you. take that behavior on IMDB where it fits in.

I know this is supposed to be a "What do you Hate about this fourm" thread, but I will say it anway; I don't think there's anything wrong with this forum. Oh sure, there things that happen on here like stupid arguements, personal attacks sometimes, and on the very rare occasional (on this board anyway) trolling. But those are normal issues for any forum on the internet. I personally find this board to be filled with people who are articulate, smart, interesting and funny. Believe me, there are far worse problems on other boards than anything Wrestlecrap Forums can have.

I would like to wear a Do Not Disturb sign around my neck so little kids can't tell me knock knock jokes. "Oh hey nephew." "Knock knock" "Read the sign punk" ah gotta love Mitch Hedberg

There are times I get annoyed at people gaining up on certain wrestlers but it happens everywhere. It's human nature. Overall this forum is great. The whole login timing out thing I mentioned from my first post was totaly my own fault. I wasn't mad at the forum for that.

Except when people say "the IWC thinks so and so" they really mean "the majority of people in the IWC think so and so". The point is that people do this to explain what is commonly believed among the IWC. That doesn't mean they don't consider themselves part off the IWC, and heck, that doesn't even mean they disagree with that point. Yeah, it may be a generalization, but it's necessary if you want to be clear when countering/defending a specific point that most people agree with.

The whole login timing out thing I mentioned from my first post was totaly my own fault. I wasn't mad at the forum for that. Yeah that actually does get to me a little bit too. It's kinda the same problem alot of sports message boards, like ESPN message boards have....which half the time, the arguements break down into.. Sports Fan #1 :Teh (Insert Team Name Here) are the best team in teh (Insert League name here) no one can beat them!!! They RULEZ!!! Sports Fan #2: Nuh-uh...my team is sooo much better. Your team is soooooo overrated it's funny. And (Insert Superstar here) sux!!! Sports Fan # 1: Nooo you suck. It's not always that kind of arguement, but it happens ALOT. This board and Pro Wrestling boards are in a unique position, because even though it's we argue over a fake sport were winning and losing really don't matter. And I agree, I never liked people gaining up certain wrestlers just because they don't like them. Even if John Cena isn't my favorite wrestler, I respect him for doing something that I realistically couldn't do and most of this board couldn't do. But your right Kris, it's like that on every wrestling board. It's nothing different.

The one little thing that irks me is entering a thread that happens to be a poll and I write in a response and then it gets denied because I didnt select an answer in a poll and my response gets deleted and I have to type it in again.

Not to go off topic but...
No, no, no. There is no but. If you have something off topic to say, create a new thread about it, it's not that hard, you won't be banned for taking up uneccessary space. Nobody wants to hear about the positives/negatives about Captain Kirk in a Boston Legal thread for instance.

(Waits for someone else to make the same comment) Yeah that one happens to me all the time (although I wouldn't be so pompous as to refer to any of my posts as "brilliant"). To be fair, I don't think it's intentional in most cases. It's usually done by people who either didn't read the entire thread, or just read through it very quickly, in which case it's sometimes easy to completely skip over posts. My own lack of a sig probably doesn't help in that regard.

The one thing I can't stand is all those "it was my birthday and no one said anything to me" threads.
Overall though, this is a pretty good board. It's my favorite one on the net.

The elitist attitudes of some posters. There's being passionate about a subject/viewpoint, and there's going on a multi-paragraph (more words=you're right) tirade on another person/viewpoint. And in the end, the thread will get locked, with no further discussion carried on the subject because one guy thinks he's high and mighty on these boards. It happens all the time.
I also hate when my old, old, old bookmarked threads are unable to be accessed. I mean, I saved the Frank Drebin Appreciation Thread for a reason, proboards!

I hate the way the mods on this forum always turn a blind eye to the munchkins who keep stealing my cupcakes. Sometimes I get hungry for a snack and I want to sit down to enjoy a nice cupcake, then I look in the cupboard and all I see is a little pile of munchkin turds. And you damn mods don't do a thing about it. Well, screw you!
