2009
-Everything I held in from losing a close friend in 2008 came out in a bad way -I spent most of the year drunk -I don't remember most of the year for the above -Tried to beat up three close friends more than once while drunk -Spent a lot of time with swollen hands and not being able to bend my fingers because of punching things while drunk -I was in one of those "at my highest when it's good/lowest when it's bad relationships -I lost her in the end despite our talks of marriage and kids -Had a failed suicide attempt two days before Thanksgiving -Went to rehab -I was and am still dealing with severe depression and chronic back spams along with tremors and daily mirgraines
Really though every year since about 2000 has been bad for me because at least two people in my life have died every year. Most of them under that age of 30. It started with my Grandpa my freshman year of high school and went downhill from there.

2007. 2008 wasn't fantastic either, but 2009 turned things around and 2010 is possibly the best year of my life thus far.
If not for the bad times then, I wouldn't be the man I am for the good times now.

From the looks of things, the 2000s wasn't kinda to any of us, especially 2008.

So far this year:
-I'm struggling to pay off debts and bills -Getting hit with bank charges for being overdrawn does't help -Fighting with a debt consolidation company to get refunded fees that were taken out of my account in January. -My GF and I fight all the time about money problems which makes us both feel like crap as there's not a lot we can do. She makes less than me and contributes what she can. My pay gets eaten up with rent, bills, charges, debts and am left with damn all to save.
-I tell her today that I'm going to have to pay bank charges this month and she yells at me for lying to her (ie. not telling her about the state of my bank account) which is fair enough.
It's starting to affect my job where I'm having to work overtime and weekends (my GF says it's "ruining our relationship") lately. I feel like I'm about to snap.

Fall 2002-Spring 2003: I was in the 8th grade and that was the first time I had ever gotten an F average on my report card. I was an A/B student up until and after that grade. To this day, I still don't know why my grades dropped so drastically like that.
2006 (Mainly October): I was living in Washington, DC at the time with my father and my brother. We ended up getting kicked out of our apartment because my dad got into an argument with the guy who owned it. As a result of the argument we had nowhere to go so we had to live in a motel for about a month. Being homeless like that was not something I would want to go through ever again. See, at the time I was a senior in high school so I was still a teenager and wanted to do teenager things, but because we had to stay in a motel every night we never knew if our father had the money for the room or if we would have to stay in the car. Thank God, it never got to the point where we had to live in the car.
After that, we had to move to Baltimore which is about 40 miles from DC. We were still going to school in DC and there wasn't really anything we could do about transferring schools since the year was already in full swing. Because we lived in Baltimore we had to wake up extra early for our dad to take us to school from Baltimore to DC. Then we had to drop everything we were doing after school for him to take us back to Baltimore and do it all again the next day.
It got so bad that we had to move in with our cousin in DC who lived on the other side of town which was a little far from the school but it was still in town. We were supposed to only stay there for the month of November, but we ended up staying for six months. I think we were a burden on our cousin because we weren't really good house guests and I feel bad for that.
After that our dad finally got a place in Maryland right outside of DC and life was good again until I went to college but that's a different which I won't get into right now.

Luckily mine hasn't come yet. I'm not some super human who's never had a bad day before but I don't think I've ever had a bad year before.

2007. Identity crisis, professional doubts, deplorable social life, suicidal thoughts, you name it.

2007 and 2008 were both brutal in parts for me and my family. If we could take 12 months from mid 07 to mid 08, that would be the worst.

1995 - I was still in high school and it was bad year for me personally because of things going on at school and some other personal things I don't want to get into.
2009 - My father died at his workplace from a heart attack. I can't even put into words how much that hurt me.

First half of this year really hasn't been good: -My Grandmother's funeral was held (she died few days before 2010.) -My Aunt has totally lost it after Grandma died and has pretty much severed ties with us. That pretty much leaves us with friends as the rest of our family is just as dysfunctional. -I had to take the semester off due to all that's gone on. -I had foot surgery for a plantar wart and I can't put flat pressure on the foot for another 2-3 weeks.
Second half looks much better though: -Dad and I are going to Cooperstown for the Hall of Fame classic exhibition game in 2 weeks. -Going to Disney World in July. -Going down to DC for the Fall 2010 semester. -Got my own apartment down there which means I won't have to go back up to where I currently live so much (thank god.)

This is the definitely one of the worst years of my life. My wife lost her job and we had to sell our car. She's supposed to get hired at this one place, but they've been stringing her along for 3 weeks now. They've said that she can start a week from Monday, but she hasn't signed any papers yet, so we don't know. We're barely making ends meet right now, since I'm the sole provider. I make a decent enough salary, but not for two people. I hope things turn around, because I'm getting really tired of taking public transportation.
- My idiot father hasn't spoken to me since 2005 and refuses to accept any of my letters or phone calls. But, he's always been a selfish git, so what can you do?
- My wife and I had to get rid of our beloved dog because we couldn't afford to take care of him anymore. I miss him every day and it breaks my heart.
Throw in a prayer for me, please.

Fall 2004 - Late Fall/Early Winter 2005 was just bad. Everything changes for the worse in 9th grade it seems. But round it up I'd say 2005 because the 9 months of 2004 was possibly the best months ever for me until 2008 came along.
Honorable mentions goes to: 2003 (starting junior high things change) and 2009. 2009 wasn't that bad but just boring and few extremly bad weeks and missed out oppurtunities. Plus 2008 was possibly my best year ever and 2009 was a crappy follow up. Right now 2010 is shaping up to be another 2009 or 2008 for me at the moment. Today could be possibly the first day for the rest of my life.

It's hard to pick my worst year since everything since I was 10 has been pretty horrible but if I had to pick only one, 2003 was one of the worst I ever had and it almost killed me.
