RUN DOWN, SIGNATURE MOVE, LEAVE, 2 COUNT. RUN DOWN, SIGNATURE MOVE, LEAVE, 2 COUNT. RUN DOWN-commercial...-DOUBLE SIGNATURE MOVE, LEAVE, 2 COUNT. RUN DOWN, FINISHING MOVE, STAND AROUND, TWO COUNT. DO MORE. NO? BATISTA, SIGNATURE MOVE. KOFI. KOFI'S DEAD. CENA'S MAGIC. SIGNATURE MOVE. FINISHER. 3 COUNT. I just have no idea what any of that was supposed to be...
...Although, there's a piece of me that was relieved that Cena didn't just pin them all.

I mentioned this in another thread, but between this and TNA's no DQ match, both shows had totally nonsensical MEs

It was interesting and unique, which is more than I can say for most of the rest of RAW tonight.

it's easy to be unique when you make up the rules of a match as it goes!
that was very strange.

At least Kofi's completely ineffectual run-in was hilarious.

Made no sense. Why would they keep leaving? Why didn't Vince just make it a 5 on 1 handicap match? It was on obvious screw job angle. Did they think they were building suspense? If the rest of the show was that bad I'm glad I chose TNA.

That was just... I don't know. It was a horrible, horrible fail.
Although when Kozlov came running out I WAS actually surprised. So... They get points for actually finding a way to shock me?
And Kofi's seemingly COMPLETELY pointless presence made me laugh. So did Mark Henry's... Whatever he was supposed to be doing. I think that's the biggest role he's had in ages!

I was wondering about it because I was flipping between the mainevents, someone would run out hit a couple moves on Cena, I would change the channel see a couple old dudes bleeding on each other, change it back and Vince was calling a new guy to the ring. So Cena didnt pin any of them?

So Cena didnt pin any of them? Nah, Cena basically ate finishers, kicked out, almost beat Vince, then got speared and Batista Bombed out of his boots. Kofi took a particularly bad Batista Bomb himself, landing high in the neck region.

It was worth it for Mark Henry. Other than that, it was an odd little ME, but not as horrible as people are going about.

I didn't think it was horrible, just confusing.
Were those all finishers? KOZLOV LEGIT HIT HIS FINISHER ON CENA WITHIN 30 SECONDS OF A MATCH!?
WHY DID THEY KEEP LEAVING!?

Isn't this basically the ending of the CAS Road to Wrestlemania in SVR2010? Difference is in the game, you had to KO each person in the gauntlet.

I didn't understand why the wrestlers kept leaving and new one's came in...it was just so confusing. And I doubt it got anybody over at all, expect maybe Kozlov for simply showing up.

So did Mark Henry's... Whatever he was supposed to be doing. I think that's the biggest role he's had in ages! I assume that you tune out Michael Cole out of habit becuase he explained Henry's appearance quite clearly: Henry didn't want to do it, but Vince ordered him to under the threat of job loss if he refused..

Filled the time of the last 15 minutes of the show without making Cena look superhuman or those wrestlers look like they belonged in Weenie Hut General. Yawn on that match and the show.

Well, with Mark Henry, it was understandable.
Everyone else, however...
*Kozlov: Well, he's got nothing else to do, and even the the former members of the Ruthless Roundtable are still heels, he isn't going to be working with Regal anytime soon. *McIntyre: Why he has the IC belt is beyond me. And 2009 was supposed to be the year it got a shot in the arm. *Swagger: Like Kozlov, has nothing else to do, other than put Christian over at MITB. I find it funny how at the same time a year ago, he had a belt around his waist and "big things" were in store for him. *Batista: This one makes the most sense. In exchange for the WWE title, he's now Vince's lapdog. And that I like the most.
In short, a pretty stupid "gauntlet", but it was an understandable one from a "beat the crap outta Cena" standpoint, which I would've loved had he taken a few of the finishers better.

I liked it for the sole reason being that none of those guys were squashed by Cena. Like they would have been in a traditional Gauntlet match.

It was definitely odd.
Kozlov is one of the rare examples of a midcarder I hope doesn't get a push on RAW. He's useless.
