If he wasn't a well known wrestling god(in the opinion of many). how would you actually have viewed his 2 weeks so far.
As someone who's never actually seen him before, i don't see anything to be overly fussed about, he's just a pasty weird looking 200lb guy who randomly got a match against jericho.
So completely disregarding his past, how would you view him if say all of his wrestling experience was just a gimmick for example?

I'd be pretty impressed anyway with him taking all that abuse from Jericho and dealing a lot out himself. I'd also have a hard time not noticing he's easily the most hyped by the show itself.

His match against Barrett was sort of abortive because of the botch and legit injury. His match against Jericho was impressive and should've rightly helped get him over.

He did fairly well in his first match.

Great wrestler with a bad look.
Perhaps he could pull off the Benoit gimmick (referring to the mat wrestling here, not that "other" thing)

Benoit looked like a killer, Eddie had those huge arms and evil look, dean was an awesome ladies man/stoic wrestler
I don't think he can be a blackman type of bad ass, i do think he can get over due to his opponents being larger than life, and he being a great worker it will work.
Heck I think he'll be a great mid carder, but he just looks so normal

Looking through the eyes of a regular wrestling fan I'd say he is a great wrestler who took a very nasty bump early. But overall he has no special look, kind of like Shelton Benjamin.

Judging by the reactions of people that never followed him on the Indies after his match with Jericho. I'd say he fairly impressed a lot of people. Bryan is one of those guys that'll make you care about his match by telling a story inside the ring. I also can't wait to see him prove his doubters wrong, guy is very well capable of putting on a good promo. Only thing he has going against him is his look. His big head and the goofy smile.

I really don't think that was a botch. Assuming we're talking about him falling off the ropes right before the end of the match, I think it was. 1. I don't recall him selling his stomach after the fall. I would think if it was a planned fall it would have been accompanied with him clutching his stomach or something selling that it was the reason he fell. 2. Jericho immediately covered for it saying something about how he only fell because of the injury. The way he said it was very benevolent which was counter to his attitude towards Bryan on commentary the rest of the match. I had a couple people over so I was only half ass watching it at the time, so apologies if what I stated above is way off...I didn't rewatch it.

The fact that Miz, Jericho, Barrett, Striker, and Cole are picking on him coupled with the fact he looks like a nerd makes me think he's Colin Delaney 2.0
But from his first match I would have loved him just off the flippies.

I think that was a worked botch. There should be more worked botches, actually. It helps disguise the real ones.

He's alright in the ring but needs a makeover IMO.

He didn't really look quite like he tripped, but if he did, he seemed to of catch himself enough to not plunk jaw first into the mat like some have in the past. Jericho did cover for him if it was the case, but it fit the story of the match: valiant as he may fight, Jericho had devoured him and Wade was there to pick up the pieces.

If I hadn't seen him before, my attitude would be that he showed promise. Not big on Cole's rant about nobody knowing who Daniel Bryan is, you should never make your stars seem smaller than they are.

I only watched it once, so maybe I missed it, but it looked like one foot legitimately missed and the match ended shortly thereafter which often happens after a legit botch. I could be wrong, though.

That's the point in this case, though: Cole is supposed to be "going too far", hence Josh Matthews disagreeing with his vitriol.

Perhaps he could pull off the Benoit gimmick (referring to the mat wrestling here, not that "other" thing) Was it really necessary to add that comment? Get over it, already.
