As i am watching the WM21 PPV, I am blown away about how good this PPV was.
The Opener Rey Mysterio vs Eddie Guererro Was a perfect way to start. MITB was awesome, Randy vs Taker is under-rated IMO, Hulk Hogan and Austin got their Moments, Angle/HBK stole the show, and John Cena and batista were born as Main Event Stars. There was alot to like about this show, 9/10 IMHO

I've always felt this show was the downfall of the business since all we've gotten was Cena and Batista shoved down our throats ever since. Wasn't a bad show or anything and I guess at the time there was nobody better to put over.

Both main events were lacklustre, but the undercard made up for it. Pretty decent show overall.

Phenomenal undercard, terrible main events. Overall, good show that leaves a bit of a bitter taste in your mouth.

Staples Centre was too small an arena to hold a Wrestlemania IMO. That's the main thing I have against it (and 22 as well). Both good PPV's but bad arena's

A massively important show. I didn't like either of the mains, but they established the company's future. First MITB remains the best one, Rey/Eddie, HBK/Angle and Taker/Orton all had very good matches, Angle and Michaels particularly.
But it also had Big Show/that sumo guy. Which was painful to watch and never, EVER ended.

The two main events were bearly good enough for a RAW main event, Cena squashing JBL had me raging.

This is where Orton reverses a chokeslam into an RKO right?

This is where Orton reverses a chokeslam into an RKO right? That would be correct, The 2nd best RKO counter, the best one is where Randy Orton countered Jeff's twist of fate into the RKO @ the rumble in 2008

If the show ended right after HBK/Angle, it would rival 17 and 19 as one of the best Wrestlemanias ever, but since that wasn't the case, the sumo match and terrible title matches took the show from an A+ to a B.

This is the last Mania that I REALLY enjoyed, honestly. Everything else was just kind of...blah, since.

I still wonder how neither Daivari nor Hassan laughed when Eugene said "You don't like midgets?" in response to Hassan being angry.

Angle vs Michaels is my favourite match of all time. Me too. And my thoughts on WrestleMania 21 are this: It was the best WrestleMania of all time until the last three matches. Not that those were overly bad, but they weren't anywhere near the quality of Angle/HBK, MITB, Taker/Orton, Mysterio/Guerrero, etc. Akebono VS. Big Show...well, at least they kept it short. Cena VS. JBL, again, wasn't necessarily bad, just not as good as some of their other matches. Felt a bit short for a title match, as well. Batista VS. HHH was similar to Orton VS. HHH at WM25 in that the fans knew what was going to happen, not to mention they had just seen a fantastic undercard and were probably tired from all the excitement. It didn't help that the match wasn't fantastic either - except for that Batista Bomb at the end. That looked vicious.

Awesome, awesome pay per view. I pretty much agree with what you guys have been saying, almost perfect until the last 3 matches. Angle vs. Michaels is one of my favorite matches ever, and easily my favorite Wrestlemania match ever.

I actually loved Batista / Triple H, but I agree with most of the rest that has been said about the card. On any other show Money in the Bank or Orton / Undertaker would have been match of the night, but this show had too much greatness for that.

I actually enjoyed this event. Michaels/Angle pretty much tore the house down, Orton/Taker was good, as well as MITB and Eddie/Rey. I also enjoyed the Piper's Pit portion, believe it or not, same with the segment with Eugene, Hogan, and Muhammad Hassan. I didn't care for the main events. They weren't horrible, but they weren't great either.

Probably my all time favorite show, if only because it was right in my backyard of Los Angeles and every match outside of the sumo match and the Women's title match was pretty good in my opinion. And even the Cena/JBL misstep made sense to me, at the time at least.

MitB was great, 'Taker-Orton was very good and indeed underrated. Didn't care for anything else. Both title matches in particular really sucked.
