I think his main event push on Smackdown was great and I was hoping he would win the belt. IMO he would have made a better world champion than Khali but that's another topic. I think he's in danger now that ECW closed down so hopefully they keep him.
I would move him to Raw as a face, have him crush some jobbers and then move into a feud with Sheamus. Or if they don't want to go that route again, I would have him team up with Santino to promote the upcoming sitcom. Seriously, besides Sheamus, he is IMO the best big man they have. He has a unique offense and is much more enjoyable to watch in the ring than Ezekiel Jackson, Vance Archer, the Great Khali and Mike Knox. Some would even argue that he's better than Sheamus. He also looks like he could kill you, Vance Archer looks like a rapist and that's not a good thing. So with that said... DON'T RELEASE KOZLOV.

I wasn't going to reply, and then you brought up the amazingness that would be a Santino and Koslov team. Book it. Book it, book it, book it.

What else can they do with the guy? He flopped when they shot him to the moon, he was overshadowed by Ezekiel Jackson when they moved him to ECW, he got squashed in a one way feud against him afterwards, and then he was turned face in which his greatest accomplishment thus far has been clearing the ring of Vance Archer and the Video Game Guys with Shelton Benjamin?
I'm not saying that he's going to or should be released, but at the moment he does seem pretty expendable. Honestly he'd need quite a bit rehab in order to be made into a threat once more. And they seem to be concerned with other folks at the moment.

I immediately thought this was about Kozlov getting a gimmick where he wears a t-shirt saying "Don't release Kozlov".
He would then ripoff a more popular wrestler's gimmick 2 years later.

He's save since he's staring in that sitcom with Santino.

FUN FACT: Kozlov had a small non-speaking role in the second season of "The Wire". I was just rewatching it recently and saw him in there. Weird, wild stuff.

Frankly, he might be one of the biggest duds ever produced. Remember when he first showed up in 2007 and claiming he loved "Double Double E,"? Well they found out he was in lousy shape and it took him over a year to get into it. When he debuted the fans couldn't care less about him cause he had the personailty and charsima of a dried up piece of seaweed. Even when they shot him to the main event scene and had him go over Taker there was nothing good about him. The fans where chanting boring when he and HHH faced one another at SS. Remember the plans for him vs Taker at WM25? Instead of HBK vs Undertaker we would've gotten a -5 star classic between them
The guy's a dud pure and simple. If neither HBK or The Undertaker can get a good match out of you, you know there's something wrong.

I don't get it. I went to a Smackdown taping last year (when he was still in the middle of the big push), and he was one of the best things about that show. That is considering that that was the evening that Umaga made his return and destroyed JWY and Fu Naki, the Failure Turtles promo from Edge (complete with the return of the 5 second pose), Matt Hardy actually giving a really good promo, and Edge getting knocked out in the TV main event only to wake up for the dark main event only to discover that Big Show booked himself into a cage match with him..and the cage was already up.

Kozlov is boring. The only match that was any good was with Like Gallows as Festus. Even his matches with HBK, The Undertaker, and Jeff Hardy were boring. It is hard to have a bad match with these three wrestlers, but Kozlov accomplished this feat.
