Look at who's qualifiyed: Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, Kane, MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and Christian. Seriously, none of these guys even seem like they have a shot, and the people who would have one (Miz, Morrison, Punk, Rey, Drew), aren't in it.
With only 3 spots left, one of which might be filled by Kofi if he's not teaming with Orton at Mania, I really don't see anyone that could win and convincingly win a World Title.
Dolph Ziggler, World Heavyweight Champion? What world are we living in?

It's pretty clear that barring any injury or suspension like what happened to Hardy in 2008, that Captain Charisma will be winning MITB this year.
The choices this year seem like they are drawing names out of a box though.

Well, the MITB was supposed to elevated midcarder. And MVP-Christian could seen to likely have a shot(mainly fi you watched Christian at ECW)

Isn't that what MITB is for?
To push someone further up the card?

I really don't see anyone that could win and convincingly win a World Title. Once you put the title on Sheamus, that logic goes out the window.

Miz will be involved with the tag titles, Rey vs. Punk is going to be a singles match, and not to mention there are two spots left.
Unless they throw Zeke in there, I could see Kofi getting one spot, and then Morrison winning a second chance battle royal thing and getting in.
But then again, with the way things have been going, we'll get Vance Archer and a returning Lance Cade as the final two entrants.

Seems to me that Christian, Kane, MVP and Shelton all have legitimate chances.

I guess they figure it may as well be a gimme that Christian wins. Looks like Kofi's teaming with Orton at Mania, so Christian's got an easy path through a bunch of nobodies.
Ziggler, Swagger? No chance in Hell. MVP or Shelton? Maybe two yours ago, but they're midcarders for life now and if they won Money in the Bank, they'd lose cashing it in. Kane, meanwhile, is Kane - just a warm body.

MVP NEEDS to win this year. But it's going to be Christian, I think it's painfully obvious.

I'm don't have anything against these guys.
It just seems strange to see so many young guys not ready and midcarders for life are in this match, and if you didn't watch ECW like 90% of WWE's audience, picking a winner from this bunch is like pulling names from a hat. I think it'll be Christian's to lose, but its like they went "which midcarder is less of a loser?", and Chrstian's name came up.

Most of the people that lost should be able to get a title shot without a MITB briefcase. Rey's a perpetual main eventer on Smackdown, Morrison appears to be on the verge of main event status, Punk has won the last two MITB matches, Drew is the IC champion, and Miz has two/three championships. They can all easily be put into future title matches.

If Kane wins it, I would love to see him use against the Undertaker if he wins against HBK, and takes Undertaker's streak. That would make an awesome Undertaker vs. Kane. vs. HBK fued.

MVP NEEDS to win this year. But it's going to be Christian, I think it's painfully obvious. Why bother having MVP win? He's going nowhere and they'll never, ever put a World title on him, and if he won, the contract would just be wasted when he cashed in and lost.

I see Kofi getting in and winning. Dude deserves it.
Imagine Batista retaining over Cena to the shock and awe of the crowd, then...
Trouble in Paradise! Title's back on Raw.

It seems bad this year. I felt like this years MITB could have been the best ever. Kofi, Ted, Cody, Morrison, the Miz, Sheamus, Christian, Big Zeke, Drew could all have been in it.
Don't forget there are two more to be added. Could be Morrison, Drew, and/or Big Zeke. Maybe Matt Hardy.
I bet they are intentionally scaling back so they can do a big one at the Money in the Bank ppv with bigger names.

Yeah, when MVP was drafted I'd definitely have went with him. But after taking backseat after backseat to tagging with Henry, losing constantly to Miz (no offense but it was an even-level feud and Miz walked away with titles), to not being good enough to be a NXT trainer for whatever reason... Yeah, it's too little too late, imo. Not without some build.

Someone from RAW is gonna win, because Smackdown benefited from MITB last year and a Smackdown superstar already won the Royal Rumble.
Either Christian or MVP, but who am I kidding... MVP won't win.

I think the problem is that a lot of these guys are coming off losing/nonexistent programs:
Swagger's done nothing of note on Raw since the fall other than being embarrassed. MVP lost to Miz several times, on TV and PPV. Christian was beaten for the ECW title by Zeke. Kane was unable to get the IC title from McIntyre. Ziggler was everybody's bitch on SD for months.
Shelton's the only guy who won his last feud, at it was against Vance Archer for god's sake.
In kayfabe it feels like these guys have little chance for momentum except MITB. It wouldn't surprise me to see certain fans labeling them as losers.
