Probably a big number Actually, the football program has been mostly clean until RichRod. Since he arrived, we've been charged with several violations. Other than that, it's been the basketball program that has shamed us the most.

The NCAA has allowed running back LaMichael James to stay with Oregon Life Skills Director James Harris as long as he pays "reasonable" rent. A judge has also allowed James to attend tutoring and training sessions at the Oregon football building.

Are we absolutely sure this guy wasn't on the Miami Hurricanes in the 80's to early 90's? I do find it funny that the Athletic Director didn't think that the players were smart enough to pull this off by themselves.

However, the comments in the story made me groan. I should really learn to not read comments on Yahoo! stories.

ESPN's Graham Watson takes a look the two contenders for the starting quarterback job for Oregon now that Jeremiah Masoli is suspended. Nate Costa was the projected starter in 2008 before a knee injury sidelined him before the opener. And Darron Thomas is a high-profile recruit that showed flashes against Boise St. in 2008.
