So I'm trying to make some animated GIFs with GIMP but the problem is...I don't know how to use GIMP in the first place. I've been looking around online for some tutorials and I've made some headway. I captured all the frames I want but I can't really get it to come together. Plus all the frames I've captured seem to be too big, do I have to resize them all individually or is there a way to resize them all at once?
If anyone out there can give me a crash course in GIMP, I'd be much appreciated.

First you start GIMP, click on Dialog and then Layers. Then you'll open a small window. You'll see a layer which is a minature picture of what you are using right now. Duplicate it a few times. You have to have an eye icon beside a layer you want to draw on but to see what you are drawing you have to click on the layer. This way you should be able to make a cartoon. When you save it you have to save it as animation and you must have .gif at the end of it.
That's the best lesson I can offer.
