Anyone play around here?
I play Texas Hold 'Em with my buddies and every once in a while play in Vegas, Reno, or at the local card rooms here in California.
with my friends it's usually for low stakes 25cent 50 cent no limit.
at the clubs its $3-$6 and I usually buy in for a cool hundred.
I've also been watching High Stakes Poker on Youtube. It airs on Game Show Net. Pots grow to a half million dollars regularly.
Anyway post your moments or games you play and let's talk America's real National Pastime Poker.

I've been playing hold'em for years now, I've even won a few little tournys back home, but now I'm really into Razz...though thats just because thats the only game I need to master to be ready for HORSE when I have the money to go to the world series (and yes I seriously do wanna go when I can afford it)
as for a moment in my poker life...the one that sticks out more than any other was online, I hit 4 aces on the river...he/she hit a royal flush in hearts, he/she doubled up and I went from the table leader to the 3rd shortsest stack (went into the hand with just under 45 mil left it with about 25 thousand)...I was so shocked that I had to leave the table because I was laughing so much...I'm so glad that wasn't real money
as for the cards it went like this me:AcAs him/her:Qh10h flop:AdKhKc turn:Jh river:Ah
he/she went all in on the turn and I called...I was playing nigh perfect poker that weekend too

A few years ago, I would play Hold 'Em with my friends and friends of friends a lot. Eventually, those people traded in playing for a few dollars in someone's house for playing for hundreds of dollars in Atlantic City. Since I didn't have hudreds of dollars to do so, I stopped playing.
I recently signed back up on PokerStars, though. I play the Sit and Go tournaments for $1-4 every now and then.
