Every episode of Cheap Seats that had the audience. I'm glad that only lasted a few episodes.

Every episode of Cheap Seats that had the audience. I'm glad that only lasted a few episodes. Sportsnation has the same problem. It's a bunch of assclowns hollering "WOAHHHHH!" and "YEAHHHH!" every time a sports clip or a wacky internet video is shown. It sounds like the audience is made up of The Bushwackers and Li'l Jon. Between the constant audience yapping and looking at Colin's bizarre Joker/Skeletor hybrid face, that show is hard to watch sometimes and not even Michelle's cuteness can save it. When will ESPN learn?

... from shows you usually like. I think the Simpsons are OK at best. Anyway the episode where they go to Italy or somewhere was on yesterday and they had Sideshow Bob as the mayor of a town. Except he has a kid now, who is so god damn unbelievably annoying. I just had to make this thread, he was that grating. Vendetta vendetta! A Simpsons episode I hate that was from the golden years of the show is the episode where Marge is afraid of airplanes. Other than the Guy Incognito joke it was a special sort of horrible that I can't describe.

One of the more recent episodes of The Office where Michael was OK that he was in an affair. He's supposed to be a lovable loser with many faults, not a straight-out bad guy. It fit his Season 1 character, who was just an ass all around without any redeeming qualities. Yeah but most of those were just remakes of the British office and they found what they wanted to do in the 2nd season so honestly I'd go from 2 on. Every episode of Cheap Seats that had the audience. I'm glad that only lasted a few episodes. Sportsnation has the same problem. When will ESPN learn? But they still keep Cowherd employed... so yeah they never learn.

I have to say this
Everyone on here knows my love of Glee and I would defend almost everything the show does. Last Night though was unforgivable.
Fox: YOU DO NOT GIVE A MALE THE LEAD VOCALS FOR A LADY GAGA SONG! EVEN IF HE'S SUPPOSED TO BE GAY!!!!!
I said my peace

There was one episode of my favorite show 24 that still to this day gets under my skin...
and no, it's not the episode you're probably thinking about... (Kim vs. Freddy Cougar)
It was during Season 6, a truly atrocious year with Jack Bauer's father and completely un-identical brother being evil, Chloe becoming ordinary and not like herself, the entire CTU becoming a bunch of soap opera crap (love triangles and lengthy kisses in the middle of the CTU building, during a national crisis), the weak-ass attack on CTU (for the 3rd time), an extremely boring story in the White House, Love Triangles out the ass and just a bunch of crap all around.
But, the season's 17th episode nearly made me ragequit before the episode was over.
During said episode, Jack Bauer ended up working with an autistic guy to help him nab one of the villains. Now, don't get me wrong, I feel bad for autistic people. But, this guy was was like a parody of an autistic person (he acted like a 3rd rate Rain Man) and later on, the autistic guy lures the bad guy out and thanks to him, Jack catches the bad guy. (By the way, the autistic guy in those few minutes had totally outshined all of CTU this season, because they were too busy sorting out their love lives and macking at their work stations to be productive)
The use of autism for this character felt so cheap and exploitive to me, and really rubbed me the wrong way.
And not only that, but also in the episode, the President (Wayne Palmer) was up on his feet and doing strong... MERE HOURS AFTER SNORKIN' BRAIN SURGERY! He didn't even have any incision marks!
This episode hurt me. It was the pinacle of crap for that horrible season and I was so mad, I didn't even watch the following week's episode until the next week on tape. And I am a true 24 fanboy! Somebody who didn't mind the damn Cougar in season 2! But I hated this episode.
Aside from that there was one episode this season with Starbuck in her redneck boyfriend robbing a bank that took up nearly 30 minutes of the damn show... but the episode was saved with Renee Walker's breakdown in the last 10 minutes.

The Simpsons, Season 9, episode 2. Golden Age of the Simpsons comes to a screeching halt with The Principal and the Pauper. Everything about it is awful. No redeeming quality whatsoever. Safe to say, that's an unpopular episode in a lot of Simpsons' fans minds (as also in mine).

The episode of Scrubs where Turk steals from JD, and after the usual hijinks, comes off as the good guy because he is planning on starting a family.

Safe to say, that's an unpopular episode in a lot of Simpsons' fans minds (as also in mine). Which is weird, because it's always been one of my favorites. I always thought there were enough good jokes in it ("Up yours, children!") that kept it funny in the face of undoing one of it's characters. Now, a Simpsons I'll always hate is That 90's Show. I always disliked how the show will sometimes shift the timeframe to keep it more modern by showing an unknown part of Homer and Marge's history that makes no sense. Same issue with the episode where they reveal Homer and Marge met a summer camp. I know the writers feel like they need to stretch the reality of the show to get new shows out, but these were particularly badly written and unfunny.

There were a small handful of funny gags, but yeah, it's pretty dismal. I guess the anchovy episode of Futurama is pretty weak.

"Luda-Christmas", a Season 2 episode of 30 Rock where Liz Lemon's family comes to visit her in New York. Jack Donaghy starts to hang out with this family until his mother decides to meddle with the Lemons' and start a family feud that I don't think has been resolved since.
I mean, Liz Lemon already cops it enough without some old woman meddling with her family only to prove a point to her estranged son. So I don't particularly like that episode. In general, I'm not a fan of episodes where the main plot is a character having bad things happen to them for no reason, and then no good things happen at all to balance it out.
Shame too, because the sub-plot was awesome (Kenneth the Page teaching everyone else the true meaning of Christmas).

You pretty much summed up my complaint with a lot of Frasier episodes, and why I never could get into Drake and Josh. "Hey, fans, you like curbstompings with no bright side?" Well, no, can't say I'm into that.

I still say the Simpsons is a good show, but boy I hatedthat episode in which Bart and his family are accused of being anti-American. It COULD have been a fun episode with a good morale, but the writers apparently lost track of the point they wanted to make about fifty seconds in.
I love EVERY episode of Daria... except the musical one. Yes, even f'n DARIA had a musical episode and no, you can't be blamed for forgetting it. Look, people who work for TV, even if you're being sarcastic or trying to parody htem, musical episodesare never ever ever EVER funny or in any way entertaining, so don't. It's especially jarring considering the awesome soundtrack this show had.
The Stargate SG-1 episode in which Jackson resurrects. That's the exact reason why I hate it when writers kill off a character when its actor leaves the show. If the actor wants to come back and his character needs to be brought back, the explanation will ALWAYS be convoluted and nonsensical, and this is no exception. And that's a show about people travelling to various planets thanks to a watery portal broought by Egyptian gods who turned out to be extraterrestrials and the pyramids were their ships.
Also, the show was getting weak when it started to focus only on the war against the Goa'Hulds (sp?) and less on exploring, meeting new civilizations and finding intelligent ways to solve problems. Thanksfully they realized that and quickly went back to the original formula.
Oh and how could I forget the Terrence & Philip episode of South Park? "Hey! We were going to give you a great reveal, but you know what would be fun? A WHOLE EPISODE about the show within a show whose gimmick is that people love it despite it NOT being funny." And any Mr Hankey episode too. POOOOOOOOOOOOOP isn't that funny?! Heh?! Heh?! And finally, the episode in which Charles Manson becomes a good guy was the straw that broke the camel's back for me as I quit watching altogether. I got the confirmation of what I started to fear for a while: that the show that once was cleverly using it's offensiveness to be funny AND even give some kind of message because Parker and Stone had something to say, had now become offensive just for the sake of being offensive because Parker and Stone are attention whores.
