Bob, George (rip), Roy (rip), Jeff, Tom, and thier alter Wilbury egos.
Short lived but jam packed with great tunes and musical legacy hardly rivaled by any band.
Share any memories or stories.
help me out with this one. A buddy was telling me George was in LA and hanging out with Tom and was saying how he wanted to record some new material so Tom called Bob to use his studio at his house and when they got there Bob was hanging out with Roy.
Possible rumor but how cool would that have been.

Possible rumor but how cool would that have been. That's pretty much how it went. Warner Brothers wanted a B side for a single and of course the song they recorded (Handle With Care) was waay too good, so they toyed with the idea of doing a whole album, and creating a dream band and who would be involved in it and that's where Roy Orbison came in. Great, Great band, For me, one could make an awesome box set with both Wilbury albums, George's Cloud Nine, his 3 new songs that appeared on his Greatest Hits record in 89, Tom's Full Moon Fever, Roy's Mystery Girl & King Of Hearts albums & Jeff's Armchair Theatre.
