I just got a Super Nintendo and I need some game recommendations. Either essential/classic games, or more obscure ones. Thanks.

Legend Of Zelda (I can't remember the subtitle, the first one that came out for the SNES) A Link to the Past. And it was the only one to come out for the SNES I was going to say Link To The Past, but I could swear that was also the subtitle of one of the early Link Gameboy games.

Both Mario Worlds All 3 DKC games Mega Man X Goof Troop Earthbound Super Mario RPG Super Mario Kart Super Mario All Stars Super Game Boy (If you have some older game boy games at least) Turtles in Time Super Castlevania IV Buster Busts Loose Animaniacs Kirby Super Star Contra III Final Fantasy II (IV) Final Fantasy III (VI) Chrono Trigger Illusion of Gaia (Which I've sadly neglected the last few weeks) Zelda: ALTTP Actraiser Super Punch Out NBA Jam
And some more I can't recall just now.

My advice would be to avoid all of the wrestling games listed in this thread so far, and get Saturday Night Slam Masters instead. It really is the only 16-bit wrestling game worth playing.

Especially avoid the SNES port of Wrestlemania the Arcade Game. It is a massive hatchet job.

Super Fire Pro Wrestling??? But that would probably be hard to acquire. Without duplicating anything that's already been posted, I'll add: Final Fantasy II/IV Final Fantasy III/VI Star Ocean Breath of Fire I & II Super Bomberman (series) Harvest Moon

Back in the day WWF Royal Rumble and Raw were both good, but they have not aged well at all. And Wrestlemania The Arcade Game is a bum port (no surprise considering the hardware differences) of a bum game. It's fun in the arcades and that's it. Even the Playstation port with lack of music and modes sucks.
And even though Super Mario RPG is a much easier find, it's not cheap either. Expect to dish out more than usual for it.
I really don't have alot of advice on SNES past all that...i'm a newb myself. I grew up on Blast Processing.
