When you're making jokes about vagina necks and eating skin flakes...that's when you know your movie sucked.

I think the first is best, It was very funny without going TOO over the top.
I really liked the second but I felt it's humour was too juvinile at times.
3rd was just atrocious

I assumed that she was captured during the attack on Virtucon, and replaced by Frau with a Fembot, who was what Alotta Fagina was holding hostage. She's probably frozen somewhere, or dead.

Re: Basil: I didn't get that, I mean, three months had passed since the end of AP1, which is enough time to conduct an investigation into the Fembots odd behavior, and have your suspicions. If she was a fembot from the beginning, well, who was her mother talking to, and why would Virtucon place her? Number Two doesn't seem the type to sign off on something like that.

I liked the third one, and Michael Caine against the nameless guards, is quite possibly the hardest I have ever laughed.

That's the joke; Basil's line "We knew all along" followed by Austin's confused look. How did they know all along? Austin knew Vanessa's mother, how does that make sense? EXACTLY. It's mocking the pathetically explained plot-holes in other films.
I've always thought it was one of the best jokes in the film. Suprised people didn't get it to be honest...

I liked all 3 as well, but part 4 was crap. There were only three movies. Personally, I liked the 2nd one the most, followed by the 1st one, and then the 3rd one. And I most definitely approve of Heather Graham in any capacity. What the Love Guru isn't an Austin Powers movie?

I think it was one of those things that weren't suppose to make sense. I don't think they even intended to make a sequel to the first one so they just had to come up with something that was so absurd and funny that people didn't care. Austin- I'm single again!!!! lol ;D Austin Powers 2 like some other sequels are one of those rare ones where I think it is better than the original although the original is also good. The 3rd one absolutely sucked though. I think it was intended, at least by Myers, to make sequels. He apparently was very careful to tag on "International Man of Mystery" when discussing the film on talk show circuits and the like, which would point to at least sequels being planned if it was a hit.

I only liked the first one. The first one actually had heart and a well-crafted screenplay and wasn't a succession of juvenile gags stretched out for 90 minutes.
But, eh. Different strokes.
