Why is it, when a guy lands a drop kick and hits the mat no damage, but when he doesn't land it he is in total pain like someone dropped a hammer on his toe?

The extreme force that would hurt him without hitting the other guy is all on him?
And the extreme force when he connects transfers to the other guy, meaning his fall isn't as, um, forceful?

That is the Gordan Solie explained it and his is good enough for me. Basically the drop kicker is bracing to hit the kickee and, when he does, he braces for the fall. Without hitting someone, he cannot brace for the fall and, gets hurt.

The guy attempting the drop kick assumes he'll hit and, when he misses, is too surprised to land in a less harmful way?

I used to love it watching jobbers miss the dropkick only to center themselves in the ring for a One Man Gang 747 splash.

Ok, good enough for me.
But....Why is it that when a good guy is getting the boots to him by a faction, it goes on and on until wrestlers from the back come to save him, but if the same thing happened to a heel, he just slides out under the ropes? Have you ever seen a heel getting the boots?

I always figured the faces were just stupid. Like to be a good guy you had to have a lobotomy. I mean it's the only way Sting (and Luger to a lesser extent) makes sense.

And why is it, everybody from Parts Unkown is completly crazy? You'd think maybe there was someone around he talk sense to them, like a mother, or girlfriend. And since they only listen to the manager who pays them money, why are they driven by money? Do they have an ecomony in Parts Unknown. Do they have video games in parts unknown?

Brutus Beefcake was billed for a time as being from "Parts Unknown". After he won the tag belts with Greg Valentine, they started saying he was from San Francisco, California. So, since then, I always figured "Parts Unknown" was in San Francisco. Makes sense to me, what with Alcatraz being in the Bay and all.

Why is it he HHH goes by Triple H?
They never call him by his name even if he wins the World Title. No other sporting title announcer would announce a champion by his nickname.
It never made sense to me to call him Triple H
