I said it 10 years ago and I will say it again. AM radio and maybe even FM radio. Around the World many countries are doing away with analogue TV signals. I think once that's done they will move to radio. I'm still surprised that so much money goes into A.M radio, Surely the with the money some these stations have they could move to the F.M band and have some decent sound quality. A.M radio gets by on the strength of talk station. The best of which are usually number one in their market. Some people, like me, prefer to keep up with the news via AM talk radio. FM might have a better sound but that really doesn't matter to me because the content is horrible. I have heard the same one song by Night Ranger many times before, I don't need to hear it once an hour. Pop radios play list can be memorized in an hour because that is all the music they will play for three monthes. Rap stations are some of the biggest frauds in the world. You can't call your station The Cell Block and a bleep out 90% of your songs due to naughty language. The bumpers promise hard core gangsta rap from the hood but the play list is mostly slow jams. The music industry is deader than dead but the nice thing about AM radio is the news is different everyday. And if you don't like news, there is also sports talk which is another huge part of AM radios business. Amplitude modulation also requires a lot less power to achieve a large range from the transmitter. Even if AM radio goes away, AM technology will still be around since it's viable for other applications. For instance, the vast majority of aircraft in North America and Europe (both military and civilian) use AM due the fact it's got great range when you have the line of sight.

If we're not careful I really don't see the world ever ending, not by our hands anyway.

Cameras, as a whole will probably be gone, except for professionals. I'm usually slow to use my phone for anything else but as a phone, but it's so much easier than taking a seperate camera out with you, even a small one.
Physical media I can see staying around for another 10 years, there will be less off it, but I can't see it ever totally going away.

Disposable cameras since every cellphone has a camera now days. Hell maybe camcorders and digital cameras too since most newer phones are recording in HD and have atleast 5MP cameras now. I don't think camcorders and digital cameras will because I don't want to have to buy a phone just to take a picture and I know a lot of people don't want that either.

It's more a case of people not needing a seperate camera because they'll have one on their phones after the next time they buy one, whenever that is. My camera has 10 megapixels, the phone I'm getting, which I needed anyway, has 8, not exactly a huge difference, and in 10 years, after pretty much everyone's upgraded their phone, there just won't be the need.

Where's it going to go? Absorbed into Ohio or something? Admittedly, the economy is horrible there right now but I doubt the state will disolve or something.

Does anyone think watches (the type you wear on your wrist) will disappear? Ive heard most people say that in the age of cell phones that tell time theyre irrevelant, but there are still people who dont and probably never will buy a cell phone so i doubt it (plus, the seconds part doubles as a random number generator, at least for me it does).

Good watches will stay around as a status symbol accessory.

I wear a watch mostly because it's a running watching and I always time my runs. I don't think it will go away as long as there are runners out there.

It's a great sign of how things have come along that people can even suggest getting rid of things as basic as watches, the future is coming!

The following are my predictions: - The remains of the S.S. Titanic.
- The last few munchkins who were in The Wizard of Oz.
- The traditional platter based HDD.
- Game Consoles. (Games will still be around, but no longer made as a self-contained gaming unit)
