Without going into detail, I have a family member who has different political beliefs and loves to argue politics. You get on the internet and it's the same damn thing, it gets pretty tiring. The reason why I love this forum even more now is because of the no politics and religion rule. I know some don't like it, but it's damn nice to have a website that's an escape from the "real world" if you will. So here's to you Wrestlecrap Forums, I love ya!

Hear, hear. And I say this as a person who went to school to study politics and wants to make a career in the political arena.

Being a theology guy myself, it can sometimes get annoying (because some questions beg for a theological answer) but I do enjoy the atmosphere it brings. I've ran into enough of those arguments that go nowhere.

<3 I love Wrestlecrap for that.
I find that on websites that allow it, people often start judging others based on their beliefs. "Oh, you support [insert candidate]? I don't like you, then!" s*** like that. It's great that I have no idea what any of you people believe, and I don't care what any of you believe.

Wrestlecrap is easily the best forum I've ever been to. Even when there are disagreements, they rarely get any kind of hostile or confrontational. Makes it a lot more enjoyable to deal with.

If people could have intelligent, well-thought-out discussions it would be a different story. But any time it's brought up in a forum it only sparks needless flaming and "your guy sucks." So I'm for it. But I do have to catch myself sometimes, as I'm a pretty political guy.

And you'd think that religion, of all things (and certainly politics as well) would engender a sort of... humility. But for some reason too many people are so doggone certain they won't even bother to construct a reasonable argument. Or, they are unable to construct a reasonable argument and therefore believe themselves to be certain. I like my wrasslin'/pop culture oasis.

Does Monopoly Money and Chocolate Coins count? ;D When does it not count? Well obviously when you're not playing Monopoly. Or Monopoly: Chocoholic Edition.

Same here, by far. I've been hardcore foruming for over 7 years now, and Wrestlecrap VERY easily takes the cake for the best forum I've ever been on.

Eh, doesn't bother me one or way or another. Both are subjects I generally tend to avoid discussing anyway. Probably because I don't have much interest in them.

I like this forum a lot. It's the best one I've been on and I actually enjoy coming here. Some forums that I was on got ruined by stupid debates over these issues. I don't mind talking about them (politics, religion) if it's done sensibly and people take time to listen but I find most of the time it doesn't work out that way. You always end up getting the nuts and it goes nowhere fast and then you're stuck with a yahoo ranting all the time.

We have more important things to worry about than politics and religion. Like who's a Skrull (still watching Tank. Don't know if he's one or not), who's joining the Deadpool Corps., and how to get back at those bastards that jinxed NXT.
*looks at title* CRAP! I'm one of those bastards that jinxed NXT!
