And there are only two people who know who that is. Carly Simon, and Dick Ebersol.
... and probably the guy it's directed at.

I think it's supposed to be clever or ironic or something like that. Supposed to be.

I know that it's Warren Beatty.
I read an article in which the producer of the track said that Carly told him it was about Warren.
BUSTED!

Actually in Bill Wyman's book "Rolling with the Stones" he casually reveals who the song is about rather matter of factly.
I forget exactly who he said at the moment. I'll have to look it up when I get home.

That's the thing, one person who was around at the time says it's 'definatly' this guy, another person who knew her says it's 'definatly' someone else.

I'll have to look it up when I get home. And now I need to check back here when I get home! Haha-nice! Anyway I just looked it up and Bill mentions that most people assume the song is about Mick and adds that mick did sing backing vocals but then, and again very matter of factly, Bill says the song is about Warren Beatty-I know it's not a big shock, but one might assume he was going to say Mick since it is a book about the Stones.
