every sitcom had them. Episodes that would try to pass of some message that doing bad things is wrong.
I'd have to say my favorite "moral" episodes are Fresh Prince - Carlton does speed Boy meets world - Corey gets drunk after breaking up with Topanga

There are two shows that I can't remember for the life of me what their names are but they were pretty "funny".
One used to be on ABC in the afternoons - Afternoon Special or something - that had all these moral stories. Shows about drug use (like the one with Helen Hunt who freaks out on drugs and jumps out a window) or the one where some dopehead's kid brother takes drugs and ends up floating in the pool dead from an overdose. My favorite was the drunk driving one.
The second one used to be on CBC (Canada) in the mornings when I was kid/teen and they were these little 15 minute shows. The show would air and after questions would be asked about it: was this right? would you have done the same?, etc. The biggest one I remember was this kid who would make fun of his sister all the time and get away with it. One day he has show and tell and school and she changes his cool action figure he was going to show for one of her dolls so he'd be humilated in school.

I'd like to nominate the episode of Full House with DJ's eating disorder.

I'd like to nominate the episode of Full House with DJ's eating disorder. It's not an eating disorder if you don't eat. She just wanted to fit in her swimsuit. Yeah, I'm being petty cause you beat me to it.

One used to be on ABC in the afternoons - Afternoon Special or something - My favorite was the drunk driving one. That was entitled 'Please God, I'm Only 17'. Don't ask me how I remember that, don't ask me where I pulled it from, but I can promise you, that is the title.

saved by the bell - nope to dope Saved by the bell - Caffeine Pill freak out Yeah, this tops the list for me. I brought it up one day in high school and was shocked that the girl next to me could do the Jesse Spano "I'm so excited. I'm so excited. I'm so... scared" line perfectly.
