So here's the deal. I'm currently in the process of moving from CA to NY. Because I do not currently know if I will have any TV privileges once I get there, what I am doing is bringing my Netbook with me. For my Netbook, I have enough space to load on 3 movies. Since, I don't know how long I'll be without TV or if I can get a connection to stream other stuff any time soon after I first move in, I figured I'd load 3 movies onto it (as much as I can fit) so I'll at least have those for the 30 days (at most) I am without TV or possibly Internet.
So what would you go for?
What I'm thinking of:
*Only movies I haven't seen before as since it has to last a while anyway I don't want to get bored with the films.
*Strongly prefer comedy.
*Nothing where the main selling point is that it has some big twist.
*Would like some stuff probably from 1970 onward. I like older movies, but really in the mood for something from at least the 1970s to present currently.
*Not really looking for any musical or concert films as I'll probably have some space left over for music videos anyway.

Spring for an external HD. They are so ridiculously cheap right now.
Fifth Element would definitely in my three. I can watch that over and over again for whatever reason.

Don't get me wrong, I can watch my favorite movies repeatedly, but there needs to be some time in between viewings.

Make sure one of those slots is filled with The Big Lebowski. a timeless classic Totally forgot about that movie....We'll cut off your Johnson!!! Grab a cheap DVD player and just use Red Box for the entire month. $1 DVD rentals. In NBA terms, Durantula I'm still pissed that the Jazz got dismantled like that in the offseason, but the Thunder have the best chance at being at least second best team in the Western Conference, or first if the Lakers get hit with the age virus. I have so much respect for Durant in how he easily handled his offseason talks, instead of having his own one-hour special on ESPN. I went to game one of the Lakers/Thunder first round at Staples Center, and during warm ups I screamed to him, "Yo, Count dunk on the city of Los Angeles!!" He winked at me and said, " Watch me boy!!" He's a beast!

Grab a cheap DVD player and just use Red Box for the entire month. $1 DVD rentals. That was the second dunk Durant did during warmups. He did an awesome 360 for his first warmup, but I didn't expect him to do that. This was after he gave me the wink. Sooooooo Amazing!! That's how close my twin brother and I sat for Game 1 of the west first round at Staples. There was this really cute hispanic girl that dressed in an actual dress and had the Thunder colors and called herself the Thunder Princess of 1985. Didn't get a pic with her though.[/quote]
