Corney talking about Shawn Michaels and about Vader's time in the WWF.
(Of course being a Cornette video there is alot of bad language)

Cornette seems like he'd be awesome to hang out with for an afternoon and hear all of his stories. That is, until you slighted him in some way and he yelled at you for the next 2 hours.

Whenever I hear him talk, I always hear this theme in my head.

Quite seriously, with the fawning Michaels gets these days it's always nice to to hear someone call him out for being one of a kind tool back in the day.

As entertaining as Cornette is... he sounds like he doesn't have an ounce of forgiveness in his body. Yes, Shawn was a douche back in the day, and everyone, even Shawn himself have admittied it. But, he also is for all accounts, a changed man. If Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart can bury the hatchet, Cornette should get over it.

So, Shawn's a douche for not wanting to get the crap kicked out of him by Vader during their matches? I don't really see how that's all that bad.

Cornette seems pretty stubborn, so I doubt he's into burying hatchets unless it benefits him. And I can see what he means about Vader being like a teddy bear inside. He came off very polite in his shoot interview and you could see the softer side to him.

Love Cornette. I'm... acquiring the interview now.
Anyone recommend any other shoot interviews?

I kind of feel bad for both of them but mostly to Russo. Russo seems like to be a genuine nice guy and says nothing but great things about Cornette. I can understand Cornette saying he doesn't like Russo's style or the way he books TNA but he says it in a unprofessional way. He could be a little bit more professional but hey I guess thats Cornette for you. I'm a fan of him but sometimes I roll my eyes of what he says.

I feel sorry for Vader now. I just want to find him and give him a hetero hug now and say everything is going to be okay.

Him and Bret were stiffing each other during their iron man match, but I can see HBK not wanting to work stiff with a near 400 pounder.

So, Shawn's a douche for not wanting to get the crap kicked out of him by Vader during their matches? I don't really see how that's all that bad. Shawn could've gone to Vader before or after the match and just said "listen, I know you're used to working stiff, but I can't do that every night, can you lighten it up out there?". From everything I've seen about Vader I'm sure he'd be willing to accomodate him. Instead Shawn chose to curse him out, threaten his job, and embarress him in the middle of the match. That not very professional behavior. Of course as others have said, if Shawn ran into Vader nowadays I'm sure Shawn would be the first person to apologize for this.

The title of this thread sounds like a segment from TV Burp. (one for the UK crappers)

Nothing surprising to me.
Cornette did say that Michaels "was one of the best performers of the day, but behind the scenes, he's an arrogant jerk who would take his tights and go home if he doesn't get his way". In that same interview, he called Bret Hart a whiner who always complains about getting screwed, and that was before Montreal. That was on the Raw two weeks after Badd Blood and a week after Halloween Havoc 1997, when he mocked the Hogan-Piper "Age in the Cage" match.

To Michaels' defense I think Leon really yanked his hair a little too hard. Just look at poor HBK and what's left of his hair!

Well, we know HBK was an immature little ass back in those days, but the man is 45 now?... I think he might've grown up from those days. If Shawn saw him, I'm sure he'd tell Vader he was sorry about those days.
Vader was el stiffo, but Shawn could've handled the situation a little better, cause I'm sure Vader would've accomodated him.

Boy meets World made Vader a better monster than WWF did.
