Gotta love how Cole said that Bryan goes to bed at 8.....while calling a match of his that lasted until roughly 11:00 P.M. Don't forget, they almost always act as though recorded shows are happening at the time of airing (referring to PPVs as being 3 days away and NXT/ECW as being 3 days ago on Smackdown, as well as the Raw announcers talking about the last Raw as being 3 days earlier despite the fact that the specific Raw in question had not yet been taped at the time of the recording of the Superstars match). That made Cole sound really stupid, which admittedly isn't a novel idea anymore.

I honestly prefer Barrett, though the Bryan thing is annoying me because they're taking it way too far. He should have gotten his first win once Miz started calling him out on it, yet now it's coming close to three weeks later and nothing but more losses. A good performance only really matters if you win every once in awhile - no one saw that competitive match Val Venis had with Edge on Raw a few years back as Val's stepping point into the main event scene regardless of how close it was.

Haha, you guys. Come on.
It's the equivalent of not giving a guy the world title because he's above it. This is so the most over wrestler on NXT, so somebody please tell me why they need to put him over every week? It's just obvious booking, is what it is.
Daniel Bryan can afford to lose week in and week out and WWE is taking care of his by making it logical through the storyline. This way he doesn't win NXT but he looks amazing for when they do make him debut. And they're making room for people who aren't as over to get wins over him and be showcased more.
Quite honestly, I hope he DOESN'T get the US title. We're all expecting it, for god's sake. Keep surprising me, WWE. I like good television.

The way Bryan has been booked so far actually reminds me a lot of his early days in ROH. He was just above JTTS level in ROH from his first day there until his first ROH title win, but he always looked great in the ring and that's what I'm seeing on NXT now.

Bryan has had an open invitation to join WWE for YEARS. He wanted to travel the world and learn his craft. Now that he's done that he finally signed a WWE contract. The E knows what they have in Bryan. This is a storyline that in the end Bryan will get his revenge on Miz (US title or no US title) and they'll go from there. If he gets cut from NXT and released from WWE soon after I'll eat every hat ever made.

Personally, I hope AmDrag costs ShowMiz the titles at WM.

If anything, WWE is marketing NXT TO us. This is a very smarky show, in case you haven't noticed. And Daniel Bryan has been presented as the unofficial star despite his losses.

It seems pretty obvious they're setting this up for Bryan to 'prove everyone wrong' AND defeat Miz at some point in the process.

If Bryan came out and won all his matches and squashes everybody, yeah... some people would be happy. But we've all seen what happens when you bring in a new guy and give him a winning streak. 99.7% of the time, they don't know how to book him after a loss.
At least this is different. Isn't that what so many people have been crying about for years? SHOW US SOMETHING DIFFERENT! Well here you are... and some people are crying about it.This is why we can't have nice things.
But it's good to see most people see this in a positive light. I like it, it's something you don't see often. But then again, I also think Snitsky should have held every belt at the same time... so what do I know.

I agree on the whole 'they're actually pushing him most' argument. But there is one thing I would love to see, next time Michael Cole uses a high school gym line, Josh Matthews has googled the biggest attendance he's wrestled in front of.
'Actually Micheal, in Japan, he's wrestled regularly in front of over 10,000 fans' or something.
