I honestly would not mind seeing this...as long as he doesn't just get Danielson fed to him.
Hopefully, he's in ring shape. His first run was woefully misdone by the E.

If it's a really good and really well booked run, I'm all for this.
I bet he'll be a pro on NXT too.

Yes. Such a huge money-maker right there. And Taker could probably carry ol' whisker-biscuits to a pretty enjoyable match. Well. If Taker was in good shape. Speaking of which..Could this mean.. WM27 Taker in mitb (Goes to 19-0) WM28 Taker Vs jericho or punk (Taker retired at 20?) Anyway. I hope he signs, Cause it sure would be exciting to see him infused with todays current crop of talent. fixed. streak vs. streak would be nice, but could you get bill to agree to a possible loss? and taker winning mitb would fit his character so well, but that's a whole different thread. Of course you would. It means money. He's coming back for the money. It would make a crapload of money. And Taker in MITB at this point in his physical well-being is a near impossibility.

i read where Meltzer said it was for his likeness to put on video games and so that he could go into the hall of fame next year in Atlanta.
I for one would love to see him come back and wrestle, i was always a Goldberg fan.

If he's saying TNA missed the boat, yet he's going to WWE just for HOF and stupid video games, then it doesn't add up. So I suspect he would be coming back to wrestle and on a part-time basis.
Anyone looking forward to a WWE showdown between Bret and Goldberg?

Vince brings him out at Mania to superkick Bret Hart in the head again, but instead, he lights up McMahon with a spear.

I don't know. For one I think Goldberg was one of the most mishandled superstars of all time and there is bunch of unfinished dream matches I would like to see him in. But in order to book Goldberg right, you have to make him dominant and give him a great title reign that lasts for a while. I really want to this to be the year where the current midcard rises to upper midcard or main event status or championship material and Goldberg would defiantly be a speed bump.
I would really like to see Goldberg return and have those dream matches and be booked the way he should of always been booked, but speed bump. Then again, in a strange way despite on how old Goldberg is, he'll still be one of the freshest things in WWE if he did comeback. I'm kind of torn. Can't we make him comeback around January time and end in Wrestlemania or make him comeback at the TBA November PPV and finish at Mania instead? Hell that would of been the perfect time to re-introduce War Games.

Back in WCW I hated him because I thought he was green, but now that I've seen all the crap FCW wrestlers WWE have shoved in my face over the past few years, I'd love to see Goldberg back. At least he has charisma.
I can't express how hard I'd mark if he just came out and speared Sheamus.

I don't think anyone wants to see Goldberg again unless he comes back wearing a blonde wig.

I'd love to see Goldberg back. He was one of the few bright spots on Raw during HHH's reign of terror.

He also said he'd have a tag partner going by the name "Lights Out!!!!" For you non-NFL fans, that would be Shawn Merriman. I'm also amused he follows David Arquette on twitter...

Yes!
If this leads to Goldberg in Smackdown vs Raw, in the Hall of Fame, in the ring (even if he's just a bodyguard/enforcer for a face authority figure), and a DVD it's going to be awesome.

Could this be the after Mania debut/redebut? Probably not, but still.
Anyway, it'd be cool to see him in the ring again, but I'd be worried about him going over up and comers like guys like The Miz, DiBiase, Rhodes, Morrison, Kofi and even vets like Orton and Punk to get to big time matches like Goldberg/Tista & Goldberg/Cena.

I'm all for it he's one of the biggest names of the Monday Night Wars and just to hear that music hit again on RAW would be phenomenal.

If he's saying TNA missed the boat, yet he's going to WWE just for HOF and stupid video games Stupid video games that would make him flipping great wodges of cash. And sorry, but if some people would feel offended at the thought of Goldberg doing something for the money then they'd best get those emotions dealt with right now - he's made it very clear for many years that making top dollar is his motivation as a pro wrestler and that is 100% understandable. It sounds like now he's thinking of his son's financial future as well. I would actually be a bit surprised if he wrestled again. He's 43, and he hasn't wrestled a full schedule in 6 years. If he does, I would definitely not want him full-time and would have him as a special attraction. Do a handful of 'dream matches' on PPV. If he's just running through the same old same old spear-jackhammer-splat routine on guys for months on end it'll bore the hell out of me. He doesn't, and shouldn't, need to be casually crushing the midcard and upper midcard to get over. I think this might just be a licensing deal though. Most of the money, none of the in-ring exertions. That sounds like a cool deal to me.

Saw the news. Thought "Man, I'm excited, but I bet the IWC are bitching this news out." Log on here, and glad to see everyone else finds this ker-exciting news as well. Still a bunch of great dream matches I'd love to see. Just pray he gets kept off the HHH show.
