We all know how adamant Sting has been about not being a part of the WWE, but do you think that when he's completely done with TNA and the WWE came to him with an offer of being inducted into the HoF that he would turn them down or accept it?
I think that Sting misses WCW more than anyone. As he was the face of the company for years, and has always been attached to it. And maybe he feels like he would betray his past history by working for WCW's biggest enemy for all those years.

I've never felt that Sting is violently opposed to joining WWE or anything, he's had two or three near-misses that just didn't quite come off. According to him, Vince has always been extremely respectful when they've talked, and it's very noticable that on the rare occasion Sting is mentioned on WWE tv he's never described in a bad light.
Waffling aside, I guess what I mean to say is that on the WWE's side they'd invite him in a shot; on Sting's side, I think particularly if he had guys like Flair recommending him (which is very likely), he'd agree.
The fact that next year's event seems destined to be very WCW-centric, and Sting very very likely not to be working for TNA anymore, seems almost too good to pass up on.

He probably will accept it. I hear Sting is one of the nicest guys ever in wrestling and he doesn't seem like a guy who holds grudges. I think he was the only wrestler who accepted to be interviewed by The Ultimate Warrior when The Warrior tried to make his own Bio DVD in 2005.
The only way I can see Sting saying no is if WWE offered Sting to help create a Sting Bio DVD as part of the package deal and Sting wants to mention to TNA while WWE doesn't allow it or something.

Sting stated that the reason he never went to WWE was because he didn't like the way the WCW guys like DDP, Goldberg, etc. were portrayed on screen during the Invasion and post-Invasion era. He says he has no beef with Vince or WWE. After his time in TNA is through, I don't see why he wouldn't take a Hall Of Fame induction, the eventual DVD, and maybe even a one-off appearance or match. He has no reason not to.

He said this within two days after the peak of Love Machine of Viscera angle.

Well, given the E has gone PG, is it more or less likely we may see Sting in the WWE?
In any case, I anticipate that any deal with Sting would be a Legends deal. Get him in the HOF, get a DVD or two out, maybe show up to guest host RAW, we're done.

I don't think he would accept. He was never part of WWE so it would be kind of pointless. That being said I know there have been inductions that haven't reallly made sense in the past.

I think he'd probably accept, but it depends on whether or not he'll totally be out of the business. I've heard they lock you into a contract where you're not allowed to do anything wrestling-related aside from WWE for a few months after the HoF ceremony. And that's been a problem with people like Honky Tonk Man in years past.

Guys like that have to make money anyway they can after wasting an entire life just wrestling.

I should clarify my post. It would be pointless on Sting's part to accept. I could see the WWE offering because it seems like the actually aknowledge Sting as a performer and his impact (pardon the pun) on the wrestling business.
It might be different if the Hall of Fame wasn't just a list of names. If it was like the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame where they have memorbilia and stuff it would make sense to induct him.
He was one of the guys who sat out on his contract when WCW was over so I really don't see him accepting.

If he does it, I don't think he would do it any time soon. Even if this is his last year in TNA, I suspect out of respect to Jeff and to a lesser extent Dixie he would give it some time. I think there's some prestige in the fact that Sting is the only guy to have made genuinely huge and never to have stepped in a WWE ring in any capacity. I suspect that aspect of it will never change, but like I said, a few years down the road an induction might be interesting.

If Sting was to work in WWF/E in ANY capacity, he would've done it by now. I in particular don't mind WWE honoring Sting despite the fact he's never worked for them, its a courteous thing to do, but I just don't see Sting accepting. Part of not being in WWF/E is his legacy and do have any involvement with them would water it down.
