They build the angle around the fact that the screw job was the birth of the Mr. McMahon heel character. Since Bret finally got his revenge on McMahon but completely demolishing him in the ring, I hope this was the final chapter for the evil McMahon character. It was gold for a while, especially with the Austin feud. But now, it has been like 12 years, and evil McMahon has really run its course. McMahon should only make TV appearances as a normal person, like he was before 1998.

Never thought of it like that, but that's a great observation.

I think Vince is done with being the Evil Boss now. He's tried to write himself off twice now, and I think this will be the one that sticks.

I hope so. Get that man a WWE bomber jacket and put him back on play-by-play with Lawler.

I don't think so. At the end of the day he is still Vince McMahon. Not only did he lose but his two buddies (Drew and Batista) lost too.

I wish he'd just go back to being an announcer.

He should just stay off of tv period and let more wrestlers superstars have the spotlight.

To me, he turned face in that ridiculous excuse of a match tonight. And Hart turned heel.

I gotta think his days on TV aren't done. He'll have to address the Hart Dynasty beat-down. Plus, as someone else mentioned, both Batista and Drew McIntyre lost. Maybe he'll force the Dynasty to face both of them, ultimately, leading to a tag-feud with Show-Miz? Could be exciting!

No. Even if its a year or so down the line, Vince will turn on someone and go to that over the top growly voice, yet again...

Mr. Mcmahon and Vince Mcmahon are one in the same really. It's like the character he plays is an extension of himself now. Notice how he can be positive on T.V as just Mcmahon without being evil, but still have the same swagger. He'll be like that, and turn be his heel safe, or face self depending on the situation.
