Look what it did for Orton. People have been dying to cheer for him for at least a year. Now that we can, hes the most over guy in the company. I mean, between Mania and last night on RAW, he is getting Attitude Era type of pops.
They could do the same for Cena. People have been wanting to boo him forever. Give me a semi-slow turn (maybe over 4-5 weeks) and you have a monster heel for Orton to play off of for the summer months.
I could see a Hart/Austin double turn taking place. It took Austin to unimaginable heights and Hart had the most heat in the company.
Discuss.

Next Wrestlemania (or the one after) after ending the streak.
Something like this should be handled with a year's worth of build like HBK's retirement was, much more than 4 or 5 weeks. And it should be seen around the world.

I think waiting another couple of years before turning him would actually make a Cena heel turn seem special. Had they done it a few years ago like a lot of people wanted I think it would have hurt his character.

There aren't many people who he could get heat off of, legitimately. Him turning on someone wouldn't do it, because he's the biggest babyface in the world right now. So he would need to ally with McMahon if he was to somehow turn heel.

I think they are going to need to build (find?) the next huge babyface before they can do this, unfortunately. I wonder how a heel Cena would work now (in PG World). I would love to see Rappin' Cena come back, but I don't think that works in PG (at least it would be AWFULLY neutered and thus, would probably be crapped on).

Have Cena Vs Undertaker at wrestlemania, with Vince against John Cena wanting him to make cena's life hell knowing that undertaker will destroy him at wrestlemania but than they pull a swerve and vince helps cena when the ref's down slips him a chair and brutally destroys taker and breaks the streak. Next night on RAW he does his big heel promo saying he's tired of busting his ass everyday and giving his life for the fans just to have them boo him. He becomes a corporate champion and destroy people but also cheat to win some matches so the crowd gets more pissed.
I would than keep him away from orton. Keep orton as the lone wolf thats getting massive cheers than face em off at mania.

Once again, it's not going to happen. Vince is obviously targeting the children and women's demographics. In these two areas Cena is very popular, plus he makes alot of money off of merchandising. Without DX and Jeff Hardy, the WWE cannot afford to lose a merchandising goldmine like Cena. However Orton is extremely popular with a demographic the WWE will always have (men 18-49) unless he goes completely towards the younger audience like he did from 93-96, which nearly killed his business. Although idealistically I would love to see an Austin/Hart like situation at the next Wrestlemania, even though Orton is already a face. The fans would probably side more towards Orton. Make Cena obsessed with proving he is the best, and have Orton go in as champion. Cena uses heel tactics and works the match heel at Wrestlemania, also he defeats Orton but doesn't really do it cleanly. The next day on Raw, Cena attacks the fans for turning against him, even though he has done everything for them, while Orton has done nothing and doesn't care about them like he did. He then turns his back on the fans and says he now only cares about being the best and being the world champion.

Well it could work if Cena gets jealous at the reactions Orton is getting considering all the heelish things Orton has done to him in the past. Cena thinks "WTF THIS is now your hero?" and snaps because of it.
Of course it won't happen but hey.

How to turn Cena? Have him start making out with Vickie Guerrero super sloppily.

I don't think it's time... they either should have done it at Mania 22, where I swore up and down it would happen, or give it another year or two. Right now, he's actually getting consistently positive crowd responses... his feud with Batista has done allot of good for him, I think.
Turning him heel right now would be a waste.

That scenario does make a lot of sence, if he added that he try to kill my dad, then it can also bring in some drama.

Again, I'd like to see it done like this:
Cena, once again, has the odds the stacked against him. He already lost the first match, and the heel has been taking him to town every single time they're in the room together. Cena, fresh off his 97th "I will not quit" speech, is primed and ready to beat him at the pay-per-view. There's only one small problem: He doesn't. The heel pins him. Cena immediately gets on the mic and demands the match be made into a best out of three falls match due to the fact the heel cheated. Whoever the hell is in charge obliges, and the match continues. Cena attempts to enter the "Cena playbook" - Five Knuckle Shuffle, "You can't see me," and so on - but the heel catches on and pins him clean. The match is over. Cena lost. The odds finally overcame him. The heel celebrates as Cena just lays there, despondent. After a minute or so, he gets up, walks to the heel, and promptly starts to freak the hell out. He beats the heel with anything he can find - the ring steps, the title belt, a chair, the ring bell. He then turns his attention to the refs that are trying to restrain him. Then the announcers. Then ring crew. Then the plant in the audience that's dressed like a fan. It should look real, like John Cena the human being has snapped.

Honestly, the only real way I could see Cena being turned heel is if he got put in a feud with Orton that started out rather respectful and friendly but turned into Cena growing more and more paranoid about the idea of Orton injuring him again like what happened back in 2007. Could maybe have them team up sometime for the eventual turn and when Orton just happens to take a step toward Cena while he's on the ground John could go ballistic and attack him.
To get the crowd to actually boo him, though, Cena would need to be put against a face the crowd will rally behind over him, much like how no one really booed Batista at all until he got into the Cena feud. For that I'd say... Triple H or Undertaker is about it, and one of those is a hell of a lot fresher than the other for Cena to feud with.

Not now, but within the next year would be the time. Orton's insanely over, and I think they should keep building him as a face. Have him and Cena face off at SummerSlam for the belt, with Cena barely winning (school boy finish or something similar, but clean).
Keep them apart for the fall, have Orton win the Rumble, and do the Austin/Rock II style build to WrestleMania. At the match, have a very even match with the odds slightly in Orton's favour. He kicks out of the AA, he breaks out of the STF, hell even have him kick out of the top rope AA.
Finally, have Orton lining up for the punt kick, have Cena roll out just in time looking scared s***less, showing fear for the first time. After, bump the ref, and have Orton knock Cena to the outside. As Orton approaches, Cean absolutely DRILLS him with the ring bell out of nowhere ala JBL/Eddie Judgment Day. Have him then destroy Orton with a chair, lock in the STF and have the ref call the bell when he sees the unconscious Orton in Cena's hold.
Have him come out on Raw, cut a heel promo condemning people for cheering Orton, after all he's done for them, and have him commit another hardcore heel action to close out Raw to solidify his place as the top heel. Make sure he holds the title for a good long while (maybe even waiting till the next 'Mania for Orton to get his rematch) And, in my opinion, you have a license to print money.
