Let's talk about the 100 people who were the Saturday morning wrestling TV audience. I always wondered how these people got tickets. (of course then I thought AWA was being taped in SF KOFY 20 studio.)
Did anyone ever go to one? I think it would've hella cool to go to one.
Just the sound of the TV crowd was unique.

I miss studio wrestling too. Memphis' tv show was the best.

I don't know how it was handled in other territories, but for Memphis tv taping tickets you had to mail WMC-TV and request free tickets. There was usually a six month waiting list, but they kept back some tickets for their handicapped fans at Dave Brown's insistence. Great environment and even though the audience was small it was electric. I miss those days, great time to be a fan.

oh at first i thought this thread was about impact tapings on monday, where the director told the fans to act more like a tv audience.

they're obtained just like you get tickets for talk shows, you send away for them

Never been to one myself, but that Memphis crowd was definitely unique. Very vocal, into having a good time.
