Lawler is like a vulture with this prison stuff. Thank god MVP's actually making something from all the mistakes he's made.

......................I are teh confused.
That's something The King would say, not this horrible shell of a commentator that is Jerry Lawler.
Does this mean he's finally turning heel again, or have I just been missing Jerry Lawler having a vendetta against MVP?

If only Lawler would turn back full heel again...
If MVP "retired" him from WWE programming for good, he would be my permanent favorite wrestler.

Princeton
I haven't watched Superstars once and I didn't realise they were exploiting MVP"s past. That's messed up. I never heard anyone bring up Booker T's prison term.

MVP's prison time is nothing new
Ever since that squash feud with Miz where he basically went PRISON. REALLY. PRISON. REALLY. PRISON. REALLY.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I'm pretty sure Lawler used to mention Booker T.'s jail time pretty often a few years ago (maybe around the time he was feuding with HHH).

I remember this happening at least once, too. Yeah, with Jerry he basically marks for every babyface on every show; except MVP - who he gets really snide and heelish regarding. It's been happening off and on since he came to Raw, and hopefully it's going somewhere. Lawler could really use freshening up, and it looks like he's still got what it takes.

I could have totally missed it. I tend to tune out the announcers.

They should hire a roster of convicts if it means Lawler finding his fire again.

I'd like to see a Daniel Bryan/MVP tag team on Raw just for how awesome it'd be to hear both King and Cole being "heels" for once.

I never heard anyone bring up Booker T's prison term. See WrestleMania 19, HHH vs. Booker. Lawler brings it up for the entire match, leading to one of the greatest JR quotes ever: "You've run that joke into the godda-- to the ground!"

King's vendetta against MVP amuses me (I am glad MVP turned his life around).
And while he's nowhere near the commentator he was in the past, I feel pretty confident in saying I thought he was the best commentator during Wrestlemania. Cole was unbearable, and Striker was shockingly bad. King actually stepped it up, if only for the one night.
I hope King goes over to Smackdown during the Draft; it's helped others to regain their fire, and has the benefit of editing.
