What are some title changes that were unexpected? Some could be people that you didn't expect to win and others could be people would won the belt sooner then expected....
Mine is...
Big Show @ Survivor Series 2002, I didn't have Internet back then and i didn't expect show to beat Lesnar for the WWE title!

Eddie beating Brock. Some saw it coming miles ahead, I really, really just thought Eddie was going to be a quick filler main event opponent for Lesnar before his WrestleMania defense (with no disrespect to Eddie that is, even if my theory was still the case I'd still love the guy, he was always a favourite of mine).
Sheamus also obviously comes to mind.

Bret winning the title from Flair in 1992 - this was long before the mass advent of the net, I only saw the WWF on TV, thought Flair was well entrenched, then suddenly on Superstars, they brought Bret out with the belt.

Sheamus. I thought he hadn't got a hope in hell, especially not on Cena.

I know it doesn't actually count as it was unannounced but Edge cashing in his MITB at New Years Revolution 2006 was so unexpected.

London and Kendrick winning the Tag Titles. They had basically got the better of MNM throughout the feud, so I assumed they would end up losing at the PPV. But not only did they win the belts, they got a year-long run with them.

Edge over Cena at NYR. Just a genius move by the bookers.

Sgt. Slaughter winning the WWF championship from the Ultimate Warrior at the 1991 Royal Rumble.
JBL breaking his way out of midcard obscurity to defeat Eddie Guerrero at Great American Bash 2004.
CM Punk cashing in his MITB contract to defeat Edge on RAW.
Randy Orton beating Chris Benoit(cleanly I might add) at Summerslam 2004 was a big shocker in my book.
I didn't expect Kurt Angle to win the WWF championship at No Mercy 2000.

But not only did they win the belts, they got a year-long run with them. I LOVED that title run. Also for me, I'd have to say Jericho winning the WHC from the scramble match at Unforgiven 2008. I mean, I know he wasn't in the match to start with but I remember reading the results after the PPV and being like "WHAAAA?!"

This one. Found out years later that Flair was leaving at the time, but still surprising they didn't at least have him drop the belt on TV. I also think that kind of hurt Bret's first title run.

Billy Graham from Bruno Backlund from Graham Sheik from Backlund Andre from Hogan Slaughter from Warrior After that they started passing around the title so much it wasn't as shocking anymore You forgot the most important one - Ivan Koloff ending Bruno Sammartino's 7 year, 8 month, and 1 day title reign. The ring announcer didn't say anything for fear of a riot.
