Join us again tonight at 8:00 pm for everyone's favorite show. WWE presents Madison Square Garden Classics on the MSG Network.
8:00 hour: WWE Championship: "Macho Man" Randy Savage vs "The Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase, from April 25, 1988.
9:00 hour: WWE Championship no. 1 contender's match: The Undertaker vs Triple H, from August 26, 2002.
I can't really be nostalgic for something that happened only 4 years ago but it should be a good show anyway. I'm posting this now so the reminder can come early enough for a lot of you.
And as always, No Spoilers. You never know when someone is seeing one of these matches for the first time.

the possible undercard for tonight's shows are:
4/25/88: Bad News Brown vs Bret "The Hitman Hart; The Ultimate Warrior vs Hercules; or WWF Tag Team Champions Demolition vs Strike Force
8/26/02: Jeff Hardy vs Chris Jericho; and WWE IC Champion Rob Van Dam vs WWE Hardcore Champion Tommy Dreamer (Unification Match under Hardcore Rules)
But I don't know one way or another, I'm just making speculation

I was hoping for another show from the 90's, but the first hour should be good enough.

The second hour will probably be HHH vs. Undertaker, and the 2 other matches you mentioned. To be honest I'm looking forward to next week's as I have the first MSG show already and the Raw I have as well.

Please don't show the Warrior/Hercules match. It's on the FYE Ultimate Warrior DVD bonus disc and it's absolutely terrible.
Unfortuneately, the 1997 Raw with HHH/Jack and Austin stunning McMahon was the only Raw to take place at MSG during the 90s. It's too bad that during their best years in 1998-1999 they didn't televise a Raw show from the Garden. Summerslam 98 did take place at MSG.

WWF @ New York City, NY - Madison Square Garden - April 25, 1988 (17,000) Televised on the MSG Network - included Gorilla Monsoon & Lord Alfred Hayes on commentary; the card was to have included Ricky Steamboat vs. Greg Valentine but the match was cancelled due to Steamboat leaving the WWF: Prime Time Wrestling - 5/9/88: Brady Boone pinned Steve Lombardi with a German suplex at 14:57 Dino Bravo defeated Ken Patera via forfeit after Bravo attacked Patera during an arm-wrestling contest as Bravo was about to lose; as a result of the attack, Patera was unable to compete; Patera had already won the arm-wrestling contest once, but Bravo said Patera had cheated and so it was restarted Bret Hart fought Bad News Brown to a 20-minute time-limit draw The One Man Gang defeated Bam Bam Bigelow via disqualification at 9:12 after Bigelow rammed OMG's head into the top turnbuckle for longer than the referee's 5-count

What's interesting is that I'm pretty sure that Bret was still a heel at this time, I think the Hart Foundation turn took place after this match.
Also does anyone else think that Bad News Brown looks like Bald Bull from the Punch Out games?

and technically it wasn't Savage's first defense. he had a match with Andre (not sure if it was a title match) and one with the One Man Gang which WAS a title match before this match. but the Gang match didn't air until after this current match so, yeah
