I found it interesting that wrestling (and boxing) fans are seen as troublemakers.
Has any other area had similar issues?

I think they confused them with football hooligans. It's an easy thing to do when you're old, easily frightened, and out of touch.

Are MMA fans classy enough?

With the global economy in the shape it is in, why would you ban events that would bring money in?

And though the amount of assholes ruining it were rather small, the local toffs took it upon themselves to count them all.

Now we'll never know how many holds it takes to fill the Albert Hall

Theres no real loss though this banning, WWE uses the 02, TNA uses Wembely and theres no other promoition that can even think of running the RAH

I didn't think people still used the Royal Albert Hall for anything except for the Proms and things like that.
I mean, yeah, Wrestling's been in it but that was in the 80s where Wrestling could have been pratically anywhere.

I don't pay much attention to the UK scene I must admit but I remember at least one Lucha show being held there in 2008 so it still has been getting used sparingly I guess.

The fact that there was a Lucha show in the RAH in 2008 and noone told me about it makes me sad.

"You learn to put up with a certain amount of disruption living here, but the type of people attending boxing and wrestling matches aren't going to be your average Prom goer. People could be coming out in the early hours after drinking and making noise and it could lead to more crime and vandalism."
Rubbish! I've been to the proms, the people there are just as big a gang of scum as wrestling fans.

Just looking over upcoming shows at the Albert Hall. I'd be more likely to commit a violent crime after sitting through Ronan Keating, Jimmy Carr, or Noel Fielding than a wrestling event.
