...the Smackdown main event scene is going to look an awful lot like WWE's ECW now.
To think, if he hadn't been fired, we could've seen the reunion of Mike Knox and Kelly Kelly too.

I want to see a Punk/Christian World Title feud in the WORST possible way.
Hell, I want to see a WWE version of the Christian Coalition vs. The S.E.S.

I don't see what would make Kofi main event material.

This is what makes me sad about Morrison going to Raw. Could have been the next HUGE face on smackdown, but not anymore. Now he'll turn heel and go to raw's midcard from hell.

I kind of wish they would just get rid of the brand split. Getting rid of the brand split would create more interchangeable match up scenarios.

It would also make it absolutely impossible for guys in the midcard to ever move up, and it's hard enough as it is.

Actually, I think it would improve wrestling by establishing legitimate main event, upper mid card, general mid card, lower mid card and jobber levels. Of course I come from the old school era of wrestling. I just think people jump too quickly from unknowns to main event status too fast nowadays.

What I'd do is keep the brand split, but unify the IC/US titles and the WWE/World titles, and have all the belt holders be allowed to appear on either brand, like the current tag team champs. Simplifies things considerably, gives the bookers a chance for some fresh matchups any time someone new wins a title, and provides an immediate, recognizable boost to whoever wins the midcard title, since they're now appearing on both shows.

If they move Cody and Bourne, I pretty much have no more reason to watch Raw. I don't even give a crap about Jericho at this point.
Wait...
LOL Smackdown doesn't have a single main eventer. AWESOME.

I'd love to see that World Title feud too, sadly it'll probably only be a IC Title feud & I'd like to see a SES/Hart Dynasty feud, they could even have mixed tag matches, which would be better than HD/CT mixed tags mainly due to Serena being better than Eve & Maria.

SmackDown looks very promising, in my opinion.
Sure, there may not be many "main event" wrestlers, but there is a lot of upper midcard/midcard talent ready to take their opportunities.

Well when Taker returns to TV full time eventually that'll help a bit. Also if they really wanted they could make Kane a threat again instead of a joke. And theres the online draft in the afternoon. They should switch Sheamus to Smackdown to add more depth to the main event scene.

Looking forward to a Christian/Punk world title program to last through the summer. Least I have the hope they put Christian in the title scene and don't have him battling McIntyre for the IC title.

The good thing about this is Smackdown has plenty of guys that can become main eventers. They may finally pull the trigger on Christian and Kofi.

So was Swagger just casually moved to Smackdown by default, or did I miss something on Raw?

Basically the draft consisted of some swapping around of Uppermidcard faces.
And then randomly throwing a few Main Eventers onto RAW. Smackdown is looking pretty sparse Main Eventers wise which is kind of a good thing. Punk and Swagger will have time to further establish themselves, Christian and Kofi should get a solid push over the course of the new year as well. Rey and Taker are the only Main Eventers who are fully established over there right? And Taker is taking time off and I think I remembered that Rey is too? I totally though Orton would be going to Smackdown. Things will be interesting on Smackdown, but I'm totally worried that the ratings will drop because people are trained to not care about folks like this.
But seriously, a Main Event with Punk, Swagger, and Show as the heels and Christian, Kofi, and Rey as the faces doesn't sound bad AT ALL. I also hope someone unexpected like Dolph gets a Main Event push by the end of this year.
And hopefully on RAW The Miz will get his chance too, and Sheamus is starting to get really established. Could be a good year for WWE Star Making wise.
