Day 2: RavenEvery day, I'll post a wrestler who has never won the WWE Championship and we'll vote on whether or not he deserved to win the belt during his time there. When we run out of interesting people, we'll have a battle royal with all of the people who got more yes votes than no votes! In your voting, consider whether or not it would have been wise to put the belt on the worker at the time of his run, not just whether or not he was a worthy champion. For example, Jake Roberts would have no doubt been a great champion, but was it smart to put the belt on him at the height of Hulkamania? That's up for discussion. Past Results:-Day 1: Mr. Perfect (Yes: 24, No: 11)

In ECW, absoutely.
In WCW, sure, why not?
In WWF/E... nope.

He arrived in WWE (as Raven) in 2000 or so and by this point the best years of his career were behind him. Had he been able to explore the Raven character in WWE instead of ECW and WWE got behind it, then he could have possibly been in the WWE Championship picture. However, he was not the most deserving of a WWE Championship-level push by the time he went to WWE (as Raven).

No.
Maybe in another context, one that we have not seen, but not with the character I know.

NO
Like several of the ecw "icons", they were never over enough in wwf nor wcw to be considered a main eventer. He could have been a decent IC champion though.

Definitely in WCW. The flock could have been dominant and with Raven's rules obtaining and keeping a title would be easy and could keep a guy like Goldberg, DDP, Sting, etc. strong. The nWo wouldnt allow another stable to flourish though but Raven deserved a shot. Saturn, Kidman, Riggs, and Kanyon would make a decent foundation if treated properly.

I'm a fan of the dude, but the roster at the time was f***ing stacked and there was no way they could have justified putting the belt on someone like Raven, who just wasn't that over. Maybe if they'd given him more screen time and that intended 7 sins angle played out his fortunes could have changed and he could have been seen as a legit contender. He just got lost in the shuffle like a lot of other talented guys at that time.

Haha no way in hell.
IC Champ, US, Hardcore, Tag Team Champion, most definitely but he was never tailor made as the World Champ.
^ Now with the way ECW was and how darker his character was in ECW, he deserved to be their World Champion
